Improved mileage

Energy Saver A/S performed as advertised. I saw a 1.5-2 MPG improvement. The E A/S is a better than average tire with low rolling resistance as a bonus. It does everything well but it's not a sports tire. They are good in the rain, noise levels were OK but actually were noisier than my Michelin Alpine snow tires. They handle OK up to a point. I had Michelin Pilots before and those were a great tire. But fuel economy was lower. If fuel economy is important and you drive modestly this will be a great choice and save you money as you drive. They are wearing really well and evenly with regular rotations. Quick drivers should stick to the "pilot" series of tires. I wanted to try "ECO" tires and wasn't disappointed.

Long Lasting a good performance on the Chevy Bolt EV

These are rated for 65K. I am at 61K on my Bolt Premier. They have had their share of quick launches. The wear bars are just about to hit on the fronts, back have a bit more left in them. I will replace them now with new ones of the same, just because I took a nail in one of them and they now have a slow leak for the last 1000 miles, I could just patch it, but I figure why not just get a new set, since I am close.

I have bought Michelin's for 25 Years

I worked for a major retailer for 33 years. After trying many brands, i have stuck with Michelin's for their quality and longevity. For my last 15 years in retail i was a road warrior, traveled thousands of miles and they were great for wear and for my confidence that they kept me safe. Today i am a real estate agent and i drive clients around all the time and i feel safe i am protecting them the best i can.

Saves on gas but not on tire life

These tires came with my Camry LE from the dealer and have been rotated every 5K miles but the tread is already looking pretty low after on 36k miles! My gas mileage has been good (about 29 mpg) but I did expect them to last longer considering they are being advertised as 65k tread life.

Didn't seal, couldn't fix, total waste.

Set came on my 2023 Bolt EUV. Ran over something, small hole, just sputtered goo and wouldn't self steal. Reputable tire dealer couldn't fix it because of the brown goo all over the inside prevented a suitable patch. Ended up having to replace the entire set with only 6k mi on them because if they don't seal once I'm sure it will happen again. Considering my car doesn't come with a spare, these were supposed to be the backup. Fail.

Wear rating half but why?

These tires came OEM on my Chevy Bolt, I need new tires after 37000 miles. I did not rotate the tires and the front tires have no tread on them and the rear tires are just above the wear markers. I know electric cars are heaver than gas powered cars but I don't know what the wear difference is. It would be nice for Michelin to have the wear differences between the two types of vehicles. That being said I will try another brand and see if I get the same results.

thinknthis, we're sorry that your tire are worn out. We'd suggest an inspection of the tires by an authorized retailer. Have the dealer call us at 866-866-6605 with their findings while you are there.

Noisy and poor winter performance

I've had these tires on my car for 3 months. First I have noticed they are very noisy in dry road conditions and has become irritating. Second being from Canada (Ontario) and very use to winter condition and driving with All-Seasons, there tires perform very poorly even in light snow or snow packed surfaces. I would not recommend this tire.

Terrifying to Drive On

I wish I had returned these tires the first time I returned to the shop to find out why they were sending my car flying all over the road. Instead I spent the last 6 years terrified for mine and my kids' lives whenever we drove the various freeways (mostly SoCal) that these tires' treads sway across. My car felt like it was swaying out of control. Moreover, my fuel economy did not improve, which was my reason for purchasing these tires. At best I got 47-49 mpg on freeways and 22-32 mpg on city streets.

Dry Rot on Side walls and tread after 3 years = crap

Honestly this was the first vehicle I have owned that came with Michelin Tires. It was a 2014 Camry LE that was Toyota Certified Pre-Owned with 19,000 miles on it purchased in April of 2017. So less than 3 years old, with 20,000 miles, and the tires all had dry rot on the side walls and tread face and in the grooves. They did not ride nice (most road imperfections and bumps were communicated into the occupant cabin, weren't that great in the rain and were awful in the snow of West/Central Michigan. They were however the best balanced tires I've had on a vehicle (whop-di-ding-a-ling). Absolutely zero shake or vibration in the car or felt through the steering wheel at any speed. That's about the only positive I have for these tires. They were worn down to 4/32 by 30,000 miles. Tread Wear = nonexistent. I replaced them with Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring tires. HUGE improvement over the Energy Saver in every aspect.

Horrible on Grooved Pavement

These came with my new Honda Insight. These give a nice, smooth quiet ride, BUT the tires are horrible on grooved pavement and grated bridges. It's often referred to as "groove wander." They bounce back and forth significantly. I can't even believe the engineers didn't scrap this design for how poorly they handle on grooved pavement. I couldn't care less if I get 1-2 MPG more (yes, that's all the "energy saving" benefit you'll get, the instability on grooved pavement isn't worth it.
