Mediocre tire at best

Minnesota driver - My Wife bought garbage tires and put my Energy Savers on her 2014 Sonata Hybrid this year so I need a new set. We swap winter/summer tires every season (Love my Michelin X-ice!). I drive approximately 180/day all year long, was disappointed in this tires wet and beginning/end of year snow. Get your snow tires on ASAP ! Stopping and starting seem quite a bit less than advertised in wet conditions. I didn't not notice any increase in MPG and track my gas usage meticulously. While I would not recommend these, I most likely am going to buy one more set as defenders won't be available in my size until August.

Great fuel efficient tire for hybrids

This tires came standard on my Niro when I purchased them last year and all I can say is that these are the best. It does give me great mpg and they are also comfortable. So far I have put 30,000 miles on them and the threads are still good. There is a little bit of road noise but to me this isn't a problem. I highly recommend them.

Poor quality, mysterious slow leaks

These came with my new car, and they are without a doubt the least reliable tires I've ever had. Within 22,000 miles, two tires developed irreparable damage too close to the sidewalk to repair. The issue showed up as a slow leak with no visible signs of damage. One distributor, who said Michelin wouldn't cover it under warranty, told me that this is a common and inexplicable problem. When these remaining tires have reached the end of their usefulness, I will replace them with another brand and never buy Michelin again.

Quiet and Smooth

Replaced Goodyear Integrity on my 2005 Ford Freestyle. What an upgrade!!! The Michelins are quiet and responsive. The first thing noticed was how freely they rolled. Stopping performance is great. They are a very comforable ride. They are not a performance/low profile tire, so don't expect that. Expect a quiet, smooth, cushy but firm ride. Can't wait to see how long they last. Excellent in the rain too - can't even tell it's raining. Highly recommend!!!

Michelin Tires are the Best!

These tires are great, I have always purchased Michelin tires because of the reliability and performance. These tires also perform well in wet weather, just overall superior. Was considering the Defender but went with this tire because it was recommended for my Prius and I was really concerned with fuel efficiency which turned out to be an excellent choice.

New tires for my Mustang

My 2011 Mustang came equipped with Michelin Energy Saver A/S tires. These tires performed VERY well even during winter driving with a rear wheel drive vehicle. I was also very pleased with how long they lasted. When it came time to replace the original tires I insisted on Michelin and was able to get the same tire as had originally come with the vehicle when purchased new.

I searched for tires that ...

I searched for tires that were safe and more energy efficient than other tires. At about 83,000 miles I replaced the original Michelin tires with an energy saver style.I had the tires installed and then left on a driving vacation. The ride was great and the gallons per mile as reported by the car's computer was higher than I expected. We just passed 7,000 miles on the tires and all is well.

Great gas milaege, but noisy

I get 43-47 MPG with Energy A/S in 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Good tire life with 7/32 remaining 32,000 miles. However as the tires wore the noise is unbearable. If you don't mind annoying hum, great tires. Michelin Tech Dept. noise can be greatly reduced greatly w/o other sacrifices. Contact me.

Happy - Buying another set

These tires came on my 2012 Ford Fusion when I purchased it new. During the last year I put 81,000 trouble free miles on these tires, many more miles than I've been able to get out of other brands. Probably could have stretched it a little longer, but I can't afford trouble on the highway. I'm happy. So, I've just put another set on my car and look forward them being the last set I buy for this car. I drive about 50% in stop and go Houston traffic and 50% on open Texas Interstates at 80 MPH.

Comfortable tire, 64k miles

These came OEM on our 2019 Lexus ES300H, they have been excellent, great MPG (44mpg) comfortable tires now 64k miles (mostly SoCal highway) thread down to a 3, with the rainy season finally starting it's now time to replace them. We have the defenders on our 4 Runner and I am hesitating between the two. How much mpg am I likely to lose with the Defender? By the way, I don't have the time to click the purchase date all the way back to 2019
