An Apple a Day...

What can you really say about a bag of apples? I'll tell you what, these are fresh and delicious every time we buy them. Delicious for our favorite dessert, apple crumble. Even straight out of the bag just as they are. Add them to your next fruit tray, just toss them in a little lemon juice to keep the slices looking fresh. There's a bit of truth to the saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away".

What is changing

After delivering to my home for more than a year, I believe, I tried to place an order a couple of days ago and received the response that no longer will they be able to deliver to my address. Not sure what is changing, but because they’ve closed several stores here it is not convenient for me to go to the store.

    Too ripe and bruised

    The whole bag was pretty much ruined. Apples were too soft and bruised! I won't purchase again without thoroughly checking them.

    Mushy

    The shelf price was different than the checkout price and these were the worst apples. I have ever had almost inevitable

    lots of brown spots on the inside

    lots of brown spots on the inside. Some had no flavor. Consistently have had a few bad batches. Going to try the organic or I will have to shop elsewhere for produce

    Tart not sweet

    Bought these because I had an Apple craving. Not anymore. They’re very tart and almost taste bad.

    Rotten

    Way at the bottom were 4 rotten apples. For 8 a bag, it's not worth it. Really disappointed.

    Taste is horrible

    Usually gala apples are crisp and sweet. These tasted like cardboard. Couldn't eat them.
