This bag of apples was a great buy per bag compared to the local grocery store. The quality of these apples and size per bag.

Part of a pickup order was Gala apples. Apples were a different variety and very mushy like a Golden Delicious type of apple. Not crisp or tart.

The idea was that it usually apples are numbered to tell you whether or not there's a wax coding. There's definitely wax on these apples

These gala apples are all very good -- not soft, maybe a little on the green side, but very crunchy and firm.

I like to pick my own apples but had to buy these as a back up to my usual plan. They were OK but not great tasting.

Sam's has the very best Gala apples. Bigger and better than the ones in other grocery stores. We always buy our fruit at Sam's.

These were crispy and juicy. Sadly they had no flavor. None. I will not be buying these again. They did make excellent snacks for my dog.
