I purchased a set of michelins 1988 right after our per owned car hydroplaned with my wife and two small children. I promised myself that I would never again skimp on tires. I just made the easy choice to replace my Michelin Primacy tires with 4 Michelin Premiers. The Primacy tires have lived up to their mileage as advertised. I have never hydroplaned on these tires and they handled well on dirt, gravel, highway, and even snow. They are quiet, didn't warp and have proven to be one of the best tires I've ever had. I will note that I had them rotated and balanced, as well as maintained proper inflation at all times recommended.

How do i love this tire, let me count the ways... I could not have felt the pleasure of cruising up the pacific coast highway on any other tire. The Primacy MXM4s just have a way of letting me take those turns while I take in the views of the pacific. I haven't had them for a long long while but so far these babys are not letting me down and if they live up to the warranty and other reviews i've read this is a tire i'd strongly recommend if it fits your ride.

I bought these tires on Saturday November 20th and left the next day on a 2200 mile round trip. I was very impressed with the quietness of the tire. The handling was great. However, the mileage on my 2010 Prius decreased by 5 miles per gallon. This is very disappointing. If MPG is not important then I recommend this tire. For the Toyata Prius it is not a good choice.

I purchased a set of these tires for my wife's 2005 Acura TL about one year ago. They have been terrific: the car handles beautifully and is SO QUIET. They show little signs of wear. I've been driving for over 40 years and these are probably the best tires I've owned. I would buy another set of Primacy MXM4's when I need tires on my car or hers. And I recommend them to friends.

I too have had a problem with these tires on my Acura TL. I purchased them a year ago, and in the last few months the noise level has increased dramatically. I had them re-balanced and rotated and the noise got worse. It's very aggravating to the point where I hate to take the car on the expressway for the loud noise. Is this covered under warranty? Can I return these to the dealer and exchange them? I've always had good luck with Michelins and would always recommend them to my friends, but I don't know if I can last another 2-3 yrs. on these noisey tires!

Car came with Michelin, different style, replaced at 54k miles, still had some tread left. Checked all kinds of tires cheaper to expensive. Almost went cheaper, decided to go with these Primacy tires. Man I am glad I did. Whisper quiet ride, not a hint of vibration, shudder, good cornering, traction in the wet. Car is not driven in the snow, can't comment on that. These things roll nice down the road, no issues here whatsoever. Only a couple thousand on them right now, I am impressed so far.

Michelin tires have been a mainstay in my vehicle for years, they are very driver friendly and durable. I have a tendency to stop quickly, as my husband says "on a dime", and my Michelin hold up for many miles, even in excess of the guarantee miles. I have found no negatives to purchasing Michelin tires, it is money well spent. I plan to continue being a Michelin customer.

I have a 2WD Lexus RX350. Last year i went to the snow with 50% front and 70% rear on another manufacturer tire. Chain restrictions were in effect. I lied, said it was AWD. (DISCLAIMER: I'm a professional driver and a rescue driver (my job to never get stuck) so i have the experience to drive in these conditions. I DO NOT suggest you do the same. It will cost you your life. The purpose of this is for performance comparison.) Any slight hill, my traction light was coming on. I was climbing slight freeway hills at 15-20mph just unable to get traction. Vehicles were stopped ahead on a downhill and it took 800ft to stop from 35mph. This year, i put 4 new Primacy MXM4s on my SUV. Still had plenty of tread from last year's tires but i wasn't about to go through that again. This year the weather was much worse. Much more snow. On the same interstate, my SUV was having no trouble keeping up with the AWD vehicles and 4x4s. It was so bad, some AWD vehicles (Subaru Outback likely with bad tires) had to put chains on. And braking, night and day from last year. Now, all season performance, my SUV was averaging 25mpg with the old tires. 4 of these and I'm seeing 28-29mpg at 65mph on flat ground. That's a significant improvement.

I drive primarily highway. I've been making the 86 mile round trip commute for nearly 14 years. I'm over 250,000 miles in that period on a variety of tires (mostly Michelins). I thought these tires were great in terms of comfort and handling from Spring through Fall. Unfortunately, I only got 43,000 miles on these tires instead of the 55,000 miles for which they are rated (the first time I've failed to go over the treadwear rating). I also found the winter traction to be below-average for the category. It is apparent to me that this tire is highly biased toward touring performance in the dry/wet at the expense of winter.
