2023 Crop are Awful

June 2023 I bought a box & within a few days instead of turning soft & ripening they're staying hard, rotting & covered in fuzzy green mold. I always keep peaches on the counter for a few days to ripen then transferred to the fridge. Summer of 2022 I bought a box or 2 a month & they were delicious, big, sweet & juicy but this year's so far are awful & not edible.

Peaches

I purchased these peaches on 6/18/2025, as to today date 6/24 they are still hard as a rock. You have to try and eat them just see if they are tasty, and they are not tasty. No flavor, and hard to the core. Worst item I have bought in a long time from Sams in club..

Peel to see the dark color.

After we peeled a few, we realized that all of them are very dark on the inside. They have to either be diseased or VERY bruised. I'm leaning towards diseased because one of them had some fur like material around where the stem had been removed, and I have only had them two days. Also, someone would have to be using them for baseball practice for all of them to be that bruised. I have pictures, but I can't seem to figure out how to upload them. The link is not working, and it won't let me drag and drop the photos.

What Happened?

In past years the yellow peaches were winners. If you could smell a strong peach scent you would almost be almost always rewarded with a juicy, tasty peach. Don’t know what happened this year but even though the peaches have a lovely smell most are dry, mealy and pithy. So disappointed, have tried several boxes, but done now. I KNOW you can’t freeze a fresh peach without it turning brown, but you CAN pick it too early and store in an overly chilled space. This years offering is TERRIBLE-don’t waste your money!

Mushy inside

Unfortunately they were mushy inside and not sweet or juicy. They seem to have gone bad. Maybe out of season. Not good. The plums were much better. They too had some mushy spots but were overall sweet and not not bad. These peaches are inedible.

Warning..Gassed Peaches Rotten on Inside

Living in Georgia peach country I was excited to see beautiful, affordable, fresh peaches last Friday (10/3). Immediately regretted my purchase while cutting the first peach. All 5 I've cut have rotted from the inside AND they ARE NOT juicy. Lesson learned.

DON'T BUY

The peaches were inedible, I won't be buying them again. Don't know how or why, but they were strangely hard, as if they were unripe, but at the same time when sliced open showed signs of being almost rotten. All I can guess is that they were frozen in transit something. Worst "PEACH" ever.

Black on the Inside.

I bought two boxes today. I bit into the first peach and it was obviously overripe- mealy. I threw it away and just grabbed a new one. The inside was completely black. I spit out my bite. Awful. I've had these before and they were good. But these are obviously beyond their time, and should not have been sold to me in such shape.
