2 days after purchase I was going to peel & cut the peaches up for a couple of recipes I wanted to make. Unfortunately every one of the peaches were rotten. They looked fine on the outside but when I cut them open, they were brown and rotten. Very disappointing!

Best fresh peaches I have purchased in years

These were the best peaches I gave had in years! Finally , peaches that are actually ripe. All the others I gave bought go from green to rotten!

These peaches were perfect! Firm but tender and so juicy. They were perfect in a cobbler. I will buy again for sure.

They were firm when I bought them, but in a couple days just right. Very juicy but not the sweetest.

The peaches at Sam’s were delicious. A bit high priced but worth it. You need to let them sit on the counter a day or two to ripen.

Bought a week ago. Huge peaches, soft exterior, so was hoping they were ripe, sweet, %26 juicy. Not the case at all. Not juicy but dry with very little flavor😒. Maybe too early in the season, but I do not recommend buying now.. not worth the almost $12a

This year's (2026) peaches are simply MEH... I like juicy peaches, which drip down your jaw when you bite into them. Peaches that are soft to the touch and whose flesh will dimple when you lightly apply pressure. I want the peach to be extremely sweet with a sharp tart citrus note, not just a bland spoon of sugar. This year's variety of peaches, Rich Lady by Kingsbird Orchard does not meet my standards. Only somewhat sweet, it has pink tones on the inside flesh versus the vibrant yellow and sunset orange tones near the pit that I am accustomed to being a good indicator of a good peach. As soon as the outside of the peach started to lightly dimple to the pressure of my touch, I cut into it with high expectations, due to its fragrant smell, yet I was surprised to find the unusual pink tone. The second peach was already starting to have a light brown tone around some of the pink interior flesh, despite both peaches not yet being completely soft. These are the type of peaches that, if you wait till they are perfectly soft, will be mushy brown inside. I am very familiar with peaches, being from Austin, TX where I constantly drove out to the orchards in Stonewall, TX. It is so hard to get good peaches that are not mealy or mushy. I used to be so grateful for Sam's bringing them in, but this year's batch is not worth your time or money. Do better, Sam's Club, be more selective in your quality of fruit, rather than purchasing based on the best deal.

Usually, they are very tasty. These were so hard and never softened. We threw them away.

Peaches never got soft enough to eat, one they were soft enough they were no good for eating.
