Peaches were not ripe and needed to spend a week in a paper bag ripening. At the end of the week they were ripe but they were dried out and pithy. I buy them every week and some weeks are good and some weeks not good. Where I live it is difficult to get good fruit so I continue to buy them even if I have a bad week. The first few weeks I purchased these peaches they were excellent.

June 2023 I bought a box & within a few days instead of turning soft & ripening they're staying hard, rotting & covered in fuzzy green mold. I always keep peaches on the counter for a few days to ripen then transferred to the fridge. Summer of 2022 I bought a box or 2 a month & they were delicious, big, sweet & juicy but this year's so far are awful & not edible.

Great peaches. They were hard as bricks but beautiful when I got them. After a week on the kitchen counter they smelled wonderful and were softer and so juicy that we had to eat them over the kitchen sink while the juice dripped down our arms! Delicious!

They were hard when I bought them but usually if you leave them on counter they’ll ripen. I kept checking them and when they finally seemed like they were ripe I cut them open for a fruit salad and they were all rotten inside. So disappointing! I know how to deal with hard peaches and check them for ripening but they were horrible. I’ve bought them before and never had a problem. Over $10 worth of peaches in the garbage

In past years the yellow peaches were winners. If you could smell a strong peach scent you would almost be almost always rewarded with a juicy, tasty peach. Don’t know what happened this year but even though the peaches have a lovely smell most are dry, mealy and pithy. So disappointed, have tried several boxes, but done now. I KNOW you can’t freeze a fresh peach without it turning brown, but you CAN pick it too early and store in an overly chilled space. This years offering is TERRIBLE-don’t waste your money!

I've purchases peaches all season at Sam's for years and have been very pleased, but this year, I've purchased 2 boxes so far this year and even though they've smelled fresh upon purchase, they are hard and tasteless in the center no matter how many days at home. What's changed Sam's? Sadly, I'm done. And I'm in Bentonville!
