I have had my new pots and pans for at least 3 weeks. I were just able to use them on last night for the first time as I had been busy with family issues (my dear sweet father passed away). As I expected they cooked very well, and I plan to purchase more in the near future.

I purchased these pots and pans for my son. They arrived on time and came with instructions on how to prepare them for cooking. The blue color is really pretty. They seem to cook food evenly. Haven't used all of them, but I would recommend this set. The only thing I wish it had was a 12" pan.

This is a great set for a small family (1-4) people. The stock pot and the sauce pans are a little smaller than I anticipated but the whole set is really nice. The pans are made of very thick, heavy duty aluminum and feel like they’re really built to last. The sauce pans are deeper than average, as is the stock pot. The steamer that fits on top of the larger sauce pan is very sturdy and I like that it nests just slightly into the top of the pan instead of sitting down inside where food can end up half submerged. You can cook one dish inside the pan while steaming other food on the top. The glass lids are well made too. It’s not a set for cooking for a large number of people because of the size of the pans (reason for 4 stars instead of 5) but it is a wonderful set for a single person, couple, or a small family. This would make a great housewarming gift for a young couple, a grad moving into their first apartment, or active duty military/veteran setting up their first household off base.

Purchased this set to replace what we used in our cabin rental. First we used these at home and found them to be of great quality. We did not experience any problem picking them up with the handle (as mentioned in another review). This is a great value. The manual notes that you do not need to use cooking spray (i.e. Pam) which leave residue over time. We cooked without using spray and found that to be true. Love this set.

My old cook wear was probably 40 years old so I thought I would treat myself to some new pots and pans. This deal was a very good price for 11 pieces. I am very pleased with the pots. Water seems to boil faster and the covered large "frying" pan is perfect for seafood. Clean up is easy. Highly recommended.

We love our new Tramontina pans. Since watching Dark Waters, I've been very careful about reading anout non-stick products. The pans absorb the oil and spread it around with out difficulty. They can handle the stove, the oven cleaning process with such ease. My gf was shocked at how easy it was to get them cleaned without any hard work. Simply love our new Pans.

A good buy

I've been pretty disappointed so far. They scratch easily, and I almost exclusively use plastic and wood utensils. (I used a metal whisk ONE time which doesn't have sharp edges.) My biggest pet peeve are the handles: they end up getting so hot that I have to use an oven mitt to pick them up. I was making grilled cheese sandwiches today for a family of THREE (3!) people and had to use my ov-glove to move it from the burner. I could handle normal wear and tear (even though it's only been 5-6 months) but to have the handles get too hot to handle is poor design. It seems to be getting worse as time goes on. I'll probably look for another set this next year around the holiday season. I probably won't even donate them because I know they're flawed.
