These aren't quite the same as the single pack of 12 you can get at a regular grocery store. They are lower priced but they are oddly shaped so they don't cut into even top & bottom pieces. I don't think they taste quite the same either. I believe I'd rather pay a little more for the single packs.

Perfect for DIY breakfast egg and sausage sandwiches, spreading jam and butter too. These muffins are fluffy even after being toasted. They don't tear easily and the texture on the outside pairs nicely with the inner bread. I feel like I get a lot of value from buying this package.

I have used this brand for years and will continue. The issue I have with the brand is splitting the muffin to toast & consume. The whole “fork split” thing - hmmm - no comment except that it sounds real homey and quaint and like a good thing. In practice, not so much. I slice these with a bread knife so it splits somewhere near the center and have two halves rather than a handful of broken pieces. So normally I wouldn’t whine about such a trivial thing, but someone slid the soapbox over to me and asked what do I think. Well, there it is.

I like this brand and we love the versatility of English muffins in the mornings for a quick and easy breakfast. They are a good consistency and texture for an English Muffin. They are great plain, with peanut butter, Nutella, apple butter or other jellies and jams. We also love them for the occasional brunch or breakfast for dinner option with doing Eggs Benedict.
