Very Good Tires/ Better Mileage /

I just bought a set of 4 tires for a 2006 Civic SI. Before I had 4 Fuzions Tires. The Car came originally with Michelin (summer)tires, those lasted 95k miles !. After those, I bought a set of 4 Hangkook, then I bought a set of 4 Fuzion ( wich I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Now I am back and very happy with Michelin again. The difference on the ride is huge !, new tires, brand new, bought in Sept/14 I would recommend these tires to anyone. New shoes ;-)

Quality product for a reasonable price

I bought these tires for my daily driver (2008 Subaru WRX). They work great for my needs. The Pilot A/S 3's are a great mix; they handle like a sport tire, but are higly durable. I've used these tires in rain/snow and they provide great traction. I have not had any problems thus far and really like the tire. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great all season tire.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC

Last fall, I purchased a 2008 BMW 328i with a sport package and runflat tires. It drove great on flat, unbroken pavement, but you could feel every irregularity in the road. Yesterday, I replaced the runflat tires with Pilot Sport A/S 3's and the car now rides like a dream. Driving the car is now a pleasure!

Features Rapid Wear Technology

Purchased 2014-Apr-05. Run alternating seasons with winter tires in Interior B.C. Just had my winters put on with a cumulative summer kms @ 15,822 km. BCAA advised me I have one season left with my summer tires (the Pilot Sport A/S 3 235/55R18). Even worse than the OEM Yokahamas which lasted 49,829 km. Running on a 2008 RAV4 Sport.

Harsh

O-MGSH. I have a Lincoln MKT (large luxury SUV) and noticed splits in the sidewalls of a lesser brand tire after only 10K miles. Had them pulled off and bought the Pilot AS3's bc they're one of two that Michelin makes for my SUV and they have a higher mileage warranty. Quite pricey, too. I had them a month, thinking they'd soften out and quiet down. NOT! They were OUTRAGEOUSLY LOUD. 40mph they hummed. 45 I had to turn to see how close the 4X4 mudder was to my quarter panel and there was no one anywhere near. At 60mph, you couldn't drown out the roar! Michelin has always stood by their products, so my Lincoln dealer went to bat for me and I switched them out (at an added cost) for their Latitude Sports (HEFTY upcharge!) and LOVE THEM! I'm extremely happy that Michelin stood up but feel badly that I was so unhappy with the Pilots. Not recommended for ANYBODY. You could actually feel them hum through your foot on the accelerator! (No lie) Can't imagine any application where these would be acceptable. (Sorry!)

Wear and Noise Issues

if you only have a few thousand miles on these tires you should wait to review; handling is as promised, sharp and great grip. Ride was rough from day one on my Infiniti g37X. Drove them through the winter and now have 23K miles. Wear on shoulder of all 4 is bad, and getting a wap wap sound from one tire. Rotated in Sept. and treadwear is significant. ALL tires should last more then 22K miles unless they're for racing. Extremely disappointed that they are so noisy, rough, and un-durable. Tire care was always performed when due and psi checked regularly. Some spirited driving (how much spirited driving can you do in the winter!)

Wear life definitely not a 10

Purchased tires after reading all the websites and they sounded perfect. They did do a great job through the winter, but after 10k two tire need replaced, and 4k later the other two. Car was aligned at purchase, and tire were rotated at the next oil change. I wish I could say my wife races ever weekend, but just back and forth to work. The OEM tires made to 40k.

More than imagined.

These tires are a little expensive but they are very quiet, extremely sticky and very smooth. Used to have a vibration but not with these tires. Went completely away. Definitely very happy and can't wait to see how many miles they last. Only put about a 1,000 miles on them so far. Very impressed.

Very impressed with the A/S 3

I have been extremely happy with the Pilot Sport A/S 3 since I put them on my Audi A4 Avant. Right away, the PSAS 3 was quieter than my previous all-season tire, and the wagon was more fun to drive. Even though the PSAS3 is an all-season tire, we have been driving in winter conditions and have been impressed by how well the car stops. Just the other day, I had to come to a hard stop from about 45 mph to avoid an accident, and was further impressed by how cleanly the PSAS 3 stopped on a wet road - the car did not slide or shake at all. I feel safer driving on these tires. Not only is the family car more fun, but it also feels safer. Bonus -- we are getting about 2-3 mpg better fuel economy! I would definitely recommend this tire to my friends.

Pilot Sport A/S 3 Happiness

Living in an area with some winter weather (snow and ice) I prefer an A/S tire vs a maximum performance tire. As usual, Michelin did not let me down. While I don't track the car I do drive fast. I recently was timed at 152 mph and the car felt stable and responsive. There was more speed left but I chickened out. Tires always felt stable, were reasonably quiet, and wear better than expected. Driving a 500 HP AMG, I expected to get about 10,000 miles out of the rears. I am now at 10,000 miles and I SAFELY have 5-10,000 miles left on them.
