Wow!

Replaced P-Zero P255/40ZR19s on a 2012 supercharged 3.0 Audi A6 with sports package. Much quieter and softer riding tire. Noise at 70mph measured 79dB with the P-Zero vs. 70dB with the Pilot Sport A/S 3. Wet traction is VERY impressive. Concerns over changing from a summer performance tire to M+S tire, were pleasantly surprising; this tire turns in very crisply with linear response. In all a great tire.

I would buy this product again and again

I have owned several corvettes and the first thing I change is the tires to run flat pilot sports. The car handles much better but the reason I buy them is for the quiet ride! I can actually talk to the passenger with the radio on! This is the BEST tire made!!!!

Excellent all season performance

It provides total grip in the snow during the winter and great traction and performance in the warm seasons. I once accidentally drove over cracked glass pieces and was worried my tires were ruined but they were just fine. The tires lasted me years and I drive quite a lot of miles per year.

Did not last long

I'm now in the market for new tires. I had these tires on my Ford Fusion -- purchased 6/9/15. I put no more than 24 K on these tires during that time but was told two months ago that I needed to consider new tires and today failed the state inspection because my tires are past due to be replaced. I came here to look for the warranty on mileage because I spent way too much for these tires that lasted the shortest amount of time of any tires I have ever purchased in 30 years of driving. Very disappointing.

Excellent Handling w/ Drop in MPG

I purchased these tires because they looked like the perfect combination of attributes that would increase my Accord's handling and grip without loosing efficiency or all weather traction. And they are have been fantastic tires that have dramatically increased my car's handling while being comfortable and with a 500 tread wear rating they should last. But I have noticed an immediate drop in my fuel economy after having them installed. Although these tires are in the Green X category for being fuel efficient like the Primacy tires they replaced (and the Energy tires they replaced) there is a definite cost for all of the incredible grip that these tires produce. I've had my car and it's alignment checked out twice (by the dealer and another shop) to make sure that nothing else could be causing my 3-4 mpg drop since installing the tires. Disappointing, but even with this downside, I still smile around every corner with these Pilot Sport AS3s.

Would recommend this tire

I'm on the road constantly Highway and city driving as well winter driving and been very happy with these tires. Sudden stops and turning at the same time the tire proved it could handle the task. Not too much negative to say except like any tire you'd wish they last forever. Thanks Michelin

michelin tires

wearing out at 20000 miles. Did not perform well on ice and snow. I thought I may have had a bad batch from the factory. These came on the car. Very disapointed. Never had tires that wore out this quickly in 50 years of driving. handles ok in warmer weather. I regret saying this my previous expereince with Michelin was they made very good tires. sorrey about the spelling as I can't find the spell check.

Good tire but gas mileage is now awful

I have purchased many sets of Michelin tires for a number of cars. It's the only brand I buy. Purchased these tires in January 2014 after at least 3 calls to Michelin and one to where I bought the tires to try to narrow down the choices in the Michelin line. I was told that it was a good choice. I replaced the OEM tires on my 2011 Rav4. The Michelins handled well in various types of weather but I immediately noticed a 2 -4 drop in MPH. Thinking it might be the extreme cold weather and/or the winter fuel mix that gas stations use (I was told) ,I decided to wait a while for the weather to change. I would like to point out that I check the pressue in my tires once a week with an accurate guage and always keep the pressure at 32 which is what is recommended on the tire placard on the vehicle. My vehicle is is top running condition and I want to point out that the drop in MPG was immediate and still varies between 20-22 mpg from date of purchase until present. I used to get 22.5 to 25 mpg. I drive the very same roads that I used to. So even though these are good tires I have to caution that your mpg will take a hit. Not what I expected.

Thank you for providing your feedback in regard to your experience with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires. New tires having full tread depth will have more grip and rolling resistance in comparison to worn tires. As the new tires wear, the rolling resistance decreases. Over the life of the tires, all things being equal, the fuel efficiency should improve.

Louder than expected, worse gas mileage

I had these tires installed on my Audi A6 4.2 and they are a lot noisier than the other tires I have had on this car. The gas mileage is also a lot worse than my previous Michelins. My cabin used to be super quiet and now I hear a loud buzzing noise coming from the front tires.
