I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Can’t go wrong with a beer that has 9% ABV! I’m not a big fan of IPAs, but I liked this one. I am a fan of New Belgium beers. It has a nice dark amber color. It has a fruity and sweet smell. Tastes like a hearty beer with a bit of fruit flavor with hops for sure! I like it and will definitely be buying again.

It has a high percentage of alcohol but isn't too hoppy (definitely still taste the hops!). Its always refreshing no matter what season we are in. Packaging is very cool too!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. VoodoobRanger Imperial IPA truly is complex. While I had hoped to sample one of its fruity varieties (which were all sold out), I elected to try the Imperial. The Imperial IPA is definitely not fruity, though there is a hint of citrus at the end of each sip. The initial flavor is much more pine-like, but the citrus at the end keeps me coming back for more. Voodoo Ranger seems to make a very high quality product that can be enjoyed by beer conneseuirs everywhere.

Has a nice amber color, with a lacy head that really sticks to the side of the glass. Has a nice, sweet, fruity smell, with a bit of a tang. The taste is wonderful! It's definitely hoppy, but they brewer didn't feel the need to jam so much hop into it that it lost all of it's good beer characteristics. I've become really tired of IPAs, especially the ones that taste like you're drinking a pine needle and grapefruit smoothy, but this restores my faith in the IPA. It still tastes like beer! Add in 9% abv, and you'll get a kick out of this Imperial IPA.

I wish they offered a low carb or low calorie version of this product because I would keep that in stock at my house. But as far as the taste, the flavor is amazing. I would recommend this beer.

Ever since New Belgium released 'Rampant Imperial IPA,' I was immediately hooked into the unique flavor profile. Although things have changed, the flavor profile has not...that beer that has since been rebranded 'Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA' and is everything special that the original offers. How New Belgium has an IPA grain bill with 'Black' malt is certainly crazy, but it works with great results. Also, the the date coding which shows both Born On and Best By date codes illustrates just how fresh the beer you are purchasing actually is. It is an easy, daily drinker for 9% and New Belgium's consistency is one of the best in the industry.

It is strong, too bitter for my palate. It's harsh on my taste buds. I couldn't taste the citrus. Unfortunately, even pouring it in a cold mug didn't help.

I've loved Voodoo Ranger for a decade or more. And thinkit's still a GREAT beer. I have a question, if you don't mind. Does every beer have to be an IPA? Wasn't there a time when there was other VD's to choose from? I'm just tired of IPA's. Pease don't kill me......
