Purchased two 2'x8' wall shelves for the garage. Installed the first one with the wife, 2 hours to install, and the second one, solo installed in under an hour. If you have the right tools, then it's easy to assemble. Suggestion: impact drill with socket bit for lag bolts and magnetic pistol level to get your level line in place. The product was well packaged. They appear to have put some thought into the process as it truly was well done. The product itself, flawless with solid weld joints and consistent powder coating. Could not find a complaint if I went looking for one. Each box was about 50 lbs and was 2'x4'x6". West coast delivery. Shipping came through UPS and took about 5 days from once the order was placed. Delivery actually came one day earlier than tracking indicated. If I had more money to spend, I'd have bought one more. Really good product!

I had a VersaRac at my other house, so I already knew the build quality of the pro series wall mounted shelf was going to be excellent. The pro series wall mounted shelf looks the best in the market in my opinion. The reason I went with the pro series wall mounted shelf vs. the VersaRac was the idea of having a rack flush to the wall. However, the reason for this product being almost perfect is the spacing between brackets needs to have perfectly spaced studs. I wanted to install the shelf in the corner of my garage but I had no stud on the other end of the hanging bracket. I wish there was a little more flexibility with the hanging brackets. For example, a 24" long bracket vs. a 4" wide bracket (I can't remember if it's actually this size). Then having a corresponding bracket for the pad eye plates just incase a stud isn't available. I made it work for my garage space, but a little more flexibility in mount you'll have a perfect product.

The shelves are very nice, I bought 3 of them, and used 2.5 of the kits. Since I modified one of the kits I had to do some drilling and modifying of one to only have it be 4ft long instead of 8. I know that they also sell a 4 ft version but it has punched holes all along the front of it and that would look very out of place next to 16 ft of solid front rail. These are very nicely constructed, and the white powder coat perfectly matches my white and Platinum new age cabinets. One thing that you need to be aware of is that these are 100pct reliant on proper 16" stud spacing and the shelves must start and stop on a stud as well. There is no latitude of adjustment side to side so you must make sure that your stud layour will allow for these otherwise you will need to get very creative and drill your own holes and such. I used a laser to set mine up and I have a perfect looking 20ft run of them that looks really good. Not cheap but way nice than any 2x4 shelves you would build in their place. Plenty sturdy. Mine are well anchored as they should be, and my 250lb self can hang from the front edge any where along the 20ft, I know because that was my test before I loaded them with totes.!

I bought two two packs of the 8’ x 24” shelves and am very happy with them. The quality is excellent and the instructions and included hardware are likewise. Took a while to out the first one up but much faster after that. The system is well designed and very sturdy and I highly recommend them. They are a bit pricey but I think it’s reflected in the build.

I installed this shelf beneath a 4x8 shelf. Measured 20" bottom to bottom on wall as instructed. Positioned cables in the holes designated 20", and suspended with shipped hardware from the underside of the 4x8 in holes provided. The front of the shelf hangs 1/4" lower than the backside of the shelf. Now I will have to jetty-rig some sort of spacer to take up the extra 1/4" of cable length. Not something I wanted to have to do with such an expensive engineered shelf.

Purchase was easy, shipped very timely and was able to simplify the installation by leveraging a 2x4 lagged into the garage wall then was able to place each shelve exactly where I wanted it versus having to follow the studs. Great product, have 4 and will be ordering more.

I bought the 4x8 and 2x8 shelves in white as part of a garage rehab project I took on. These shelves are super sturdy, fairly easy to install and provide a lot of storage that is up and away. The pro tip I would offer is to ensure your studs are very close to 16 on center where you intend to install the shelves. Mine were slightly off and it made it a bit more tricky. In hindsight I would have chosen a better spot in my garage that wasn’t as far out of tolerance. Overall, I highly recommend these shelves and with proper planning, the install should be very straightforward.

I bought three of these for my garage. 2 out of the 3 ended up breaking screws when I was tightening them. I must add I used a socket wrench and tightened everything by hand. I did not want to make imprints on my drywall if I were to move them. Point being, I was not torquing down at all. The hardware is cheap. Definitely disappointed.

This is a superb product. It arrived quickly and well packed. I was able to install two 8 foot sections attached to two four foot sections one above the other by myself. The instructions were fairly clear to understand and the assembly was straightforward. I took my time to carefully read and install the shelving. It took me several hours to complete. It is a high quality product. It looks great in our garage and the storage is awesome. My wife and I love the clean appearance and the strength and stability. We looked at several other shelving options. For us, the NewAge product checked all the boxes. We would definitely recommend this product to others.
