These are great for taking coffee with you. I like these because they don’t allow the hot coffee to melt anything dangerous into your coffee like styrofoam can.

I purchase Dixie only for quality and safety for hot coffee. The lida do not fit.

Dixie recently resized the 20-oz cups so they could use the same lids as the 10, 12 and 16-oz cups. I used to have to buy a box of lids that fit only 20-oz but now a box of lids fit all of the sizes. It seemed to be a good idea because even though the new 20-oz cup is taller it still fits my Keurig coffee maker. Since purchasing the new cups and lids I'm finding that most of the lids crack within minutes of putting them on a cup causing coffee to spill everywhere because it either leaks out of random spots or the lid comes off. I'm not sure if the new 20-oz cups are slightly too big or the lids are made out of inferior materials; but, in any case, I'm returning them. I would have given the old 20-oz cup with lids that fit only 20-oz cups a 5 star rating.

My family is using 20oz cups with lids for over 10 years Monday-Friday. Two weeks ago when purchasing new stack of cups I noticed they changed it to thinner but taller design so we can buy 'one size fits all' lids. My first disappointment was that I had to buy new lids because I cand no longer use the lids that I already have (about 300+ left in the box). Then, I though it is OK because now I can use the same lids for all cup sizes we use at home. And then my disappointment list just start growing every step I was making with this new size design cup: 2. I no longer can keep new cups in my draw because cups are taller and no longer fit in there. 3. This cup no longer fits under my coffee maker because it is taller. I have to make my coffee in one cup and transfer it to another to take it 'to-go' 4. Because it is taller and thinner it is not as stable in the car cup holder as it was before. Easily to flip. 5. THE MOST IMPORTANT - QUALITY - I noticed when I first opened the package that quality of the cup is different - it is thinner then before. Today is my second day using it and second day my cup has a leak at the bottom!!! Very very very upset! Unfortunately I will need to research other options. Something what I used to for 10+ yrs needs to be change because of unnecessary "improvements".

These used to be my go to travel cup but not any more. They are much thinner construction than before and start to leach coffee on the side near bottom. I thought it might be a bad batch but next two batches were the same even in smaller size. You can feel the difference when you pick them up as the sides are much more flexible. I assume cheaper to make and you’ll definitely use more of them.

While these cups are great for general use, there is something to keep in mind. A. While not immediately clear, these have a plastic coating, so they aren't as green as just paper cups. B. That textured foam like plastic coating on the outside occasionally flakes and you will find it floating in your cup of water. Since they are stacked, the outer insulation on one cup will fall into the inside portion of the next cup.
