What I like: they get the job done and they fold compactly into a small size; what I don't like: they feel a bit heavy/uncomfortable on the head, and the cover to the audio jack doesn't stay in place and gets in the way when reaching for the audio controls. Overall, I would rate these so-so.

Sooooo disappointed! I ordered this in black and they sent me the khaki color. My order description says black as the one selected. Now I dont have what I want and need to run around to straighten this all out since this was a gift. I could have waited another day or two as originally expected in order to receive the correct product. Smh

This thing works as it should, I could hear everybody in the room talking while the much louder noises (gunshots) were blocked out. Definitely worth the money versus a more expensive hearing aid that you would eventually have to purchase if you go out more often and not wear these at all. Happy shooting.

This ear protection is used as loaner eye protection to trainees in handgun and rifle training classes. They are inexpensive when compared to top of the line ear protection. They allow trainees to hear range commands. Just a volume control. Battery replacement is easy. They fold into a compact package. They are slim so it is easier to mount and seat a rifle in a shoulder pocket. I would be better if they were made in the United States.

Have not used these much but they do they their job. Pros: comfortable, good sound reduction, exterior battery access. Cons: they are not directional (I can not tell where the sound is coming from). I do not like the way they fold because it put pressure at the top of the ear cups and will probably deform or tear the padding over time.

These are great for shooting or other activities where "you need to hear until you don't". They pick up voices from all around you, allowing you to carry on a conversation without having to constantly pull them from your ear, but blocking out loud noises above a certain db level (like a gun shot).

An excellent item for my toddler who is 4 years old. It definitely shield a lot of the noise from the Monster Jam event. Believe me I tried it and it fit mom too; so I know he will use it for a couple of years. ;) It's the perfect size for his head and it's his favorite color (green) so he was super happy. I definitely recommend this item to protect the hearing of any child. Planning of buying another one in pink or purple if available for my little 2 year old girl who will be attending the next event.

These muffs are comfortable and effective as hearing protection, and the electronic amplification works well. I'm sure they're great in the intended application. Unfortunately, I bought them with the intent to use them in an industrial application and they don't filter out ambient sound, only the very loud noises. The result is very annoying constant noise from everything going on around the shop. But it's very clear and well-defined constant noise.

Works as expected. Microphone is great for hearing conversations. Despite description, these were the grey version, not black. Also despite description on package, no batteries were included. I didn't really care about the color or batteries, but it is not as described.

My 3yr old grandjewel has sensory issues. He is Autistic and certain sounds are very painful to him. I've been searching for REASONABLY priced ear muffs and when I found these, I thought I'd struck gold. Some stores wanted more than $100. They muffle out enough noise that he doesn't run screaming and holding his ears anymore. I don't know how well they work for other children, but for my grandjewel they are PERFECT! An added plus..."green" is his favorite color!
