This is my husband favorite beer. It taste better when you add salt and limón and it has to be very cold to taste good. It’s some times expensive but can find really good deals in your town. I recommend it.

Modelo is one of my absolute favorite beers. It's perfect with a fresh lime squeezed and dropped in, and ice cold. The price is decent and the quality is great. Always go with glass over cans. It improves the taste. I would definitely buy it again.

One of my favorite beers! This beer is perfect for parties, BBQs, just about any gathering. It’s smooth and not too frothy. If you haven’t tried it I would definitely recommend it!

Modelos will forever remind me of sporting events. Every time we attend an LA Galaxy game, you can find us with an ice cold modelo in hand. It’s light and crisp - pretty average but still good. Modelo over Corona any day.

I love drinking this beer when it comes ice cold from the fridge. It doesn’t have a strong flavor. It‘a subtle but not watery. Another great beer from Mexico. I still prefer Heineken, but this is a great brand too.

Great golden beer

It is a good beer, nothing major but i do like the tamarindo picante, now that one is the best from this brand. I don't often drink this kind of beer but It is not a bad beer either. I would buy it again in the future.

I find this light Modelo to be pretty refreshing, especially ice cold during the summertime. They have a slight bitterness but it’s not overwhelming and I like that it’s not sweet. It just makes a good cold drink to sit back and take a load off

Lately I have bought modelo from my local grocery store and the beer tastes like metal. I tried another thinking it was a fluke and it tastes like blood or metal in the beer. I researched it apparently it’s the process of the beer making and the metal piping is so degraded it’s leeching into the beer. 
Modelo is NOT safe for human consumption due to the metal content.

Coming from a background in craft brewing, I had previously dismissed Modelo Especial as one of "the usual suspects"...but it was through my sommelier training that I learned to open doors previously closed to food and people pairings. At a recent carne asada, or bbq event, in the Rio Grande Valley of southern Texas, someone gave me a 7oz Modelito served in a tall wine glass. It was delicious and refreshing with a slight bready flavor, as if I were tapping a barrel at the cervecería (brewery) myself. It also positively changed my perspective on the brand after I tasted a few more that day, including a sampling of the mysteriously dark Modelo Negra.
