Good So Far

Replaced a set of LTX A/T's ~ 1600 Km ago. The A/T's had been a great tire, but were pretty beat up after a Canadian arctic trip and over 2000 Km of gravel. I elected to return to an LTX as I rarely need the A/T benefit & saw a ~5% fuel economy hit with the A/T's. So far usage has been about 50/50 gravel/paved Hwy. On the Hwy they are good w/ low noise, better gas mileage than the A/T's, good response & track well in heavy rain. On the gravel (logging roads in BC) they are also good & manage areas where the surface is soft well. The only mild complaint is they are more prone than the A/T's to trapping gravel in the treads

It's worth the price

Need tires for my 2004 Chevy 2500HD. Saw they were OEM tires on other trucks. Wanted a highway tire, quiet, really good on slick roads as I pull a 31 foot trailer. Expected dependablity, that is to say I know how it will respond when called upon. (Like heavy braking in wet weather). Also expected excellent tread wear and even tread wear. Got it all, so far.

Nice handling tire.

Overall a very good tire. The ride is superb. It is quiet, handles the road well on wet or dry pavement. It is ok in the snow, could be a little better. It has good sidewall support, I loaded 2500 pounds in my pickup and the tires didn't squish down. I would probably buy again.

Tires that last

I've had my current truck now for almost 9 years. Shortly after buying the truck I had to buy tires. This was my 2nd purchase of Michelin tires. My first set of tires came when I married my wife...her truck had Michelin tires. After driving for 3 years with them (2 years before I met her) we had over 100,000 miles on our first set of Michelin's. We replaced the Michelins with a set of truck tires that only lasted around 40,000 miles. Then again another different set of tires, and these only lasted less then 40,000 miles. After that, we decided to buy Michelin's for the truck. I put over 80,000 miles and finally had to buy my current set. I always rotate my tires so that I get the most wear out of them...but these tires last so much longer than the other competitors.

Everythings better with Michelin

I got the LTX M/S2 tires for my truck and most everything that can be affected by tire choice is better: better ride quality, lower road noise and I'm pretty sure my fuel mileage has increased as well. The fuel mileage didn't increase much, but every little bit helps. These are great tires and I highly recommend them!

I will only buy Michelin Tires

I bought these tires about two years ago for my F-150 so I could pull my 33' camper and they work great. I would not change a thing about them' I liked them so much that I bought a set of Latitude Tours for my car because of the low road noise, as long as Michelin keeps making such great tires there will be no reason to buy anything else. Keep up the good work, thanks for such a great product. Thanks Jon

The BEST

This is my 3rd set on our family vehicles soon to be a 4th. I previously ran the LTX M/S the were the best light truck tire on the market. Now Michelin has stepped their game up with a softer riding longer lasting tire. I would say they have out done themselves but that is what you come to expect from Michelin. The BEST! Thanks

May be the best tire I've owned

Replaced original equiptment tires on 2010 GMC Sierra Z71 Crew Cab after only 25,000 miles. Didn't like the way they handled or the ride. Bought LTX M/S2 and now have about 75,000 miles on them, my pickup handles well on wet roads and last week drove about 100 miles in 4-5 inch snow. Couldn't beleive traction on tires with 75,000 miles! Hope to replace tires soon, but could likely get another 20,000 miles if I had too.

Simply the best

Going on the third set of the LTX/MS2`s on three different trucks. One Ford Ranger, and two F-150`s, all 4wheel drive. All work trucks that went from city roads to interstate to jobs sites with various soil and sand and rocky terrain. The Ranger had over 110,000 mi on the tires when I sold it and still going. The first F-150 had many miles on city, secondary, rural, sand and rock quarries along with interstate speeds and handled them all very well. I could go on and on, but have limited space for this. For me, having these tires for the last twelve+ yrs is the best investment strategy. From the mountains to the beaches and all points in between, heat, rain, snow, ice and mud. Respectfully, Tom Porter, Southeast USA

Ride Safe Ride Smooth

I am driving my third Ford F-150 pick up which I love. The original equipment tire, P/S not so much. My 2011 truck had about 10,000 miles of tread left on them when I decided I could not take the bouncy ride any longer. I went in and purchased a set of LTX M/S2 tires and the installer asked me if I was nuts. your tires are still new! I told him to keep em if you want to I've had it with them. The new LTX are firm like a sports car and finally- SMOOOOTH..Thanks to Michelin for stayin true to quality through the years and years.
