First time buyer, lifelong customer.

I had purchased the Michelin LTX M/S2 tires, after trying other name brand tires for several years. I use my vehicle for my job and I am constantly traveling. With other tires, I would have to get new tires every six months. With Michelin tires, I have had them less than six months and I see less tread wear. Recently, I had screw in my tire and took it to a service station that fixes flats. The employee at the station who repaired the tire told me he had work there for over 23 years and said of all the tires out there, Michelin are the best. While they may be a little more expensive than other brand tires, I feel the price is an investment in the quality of the tires and well worth not having to buy new tires every six months. I had never bought Michelin tires before, and now that's all that will ever be on my truck!

As Good AS Advertised

A Little over a year ago, I purchased a used Ford Expedition and it was in need of a new set of tires. I have learned over the years that going for the cheapest brnad is not the best way to go, because you usually suffer from poorer performance and less durability. I bought the LTX/MS2 Michelin tires and have been very pleased with the performance. I live in Colorado so I get to see a lot of snow and rain, and it has proven to provide superior traction in all elements. I would definitely buy these tires again and would recomend them to anyone.

Great Tire So Far

Switched to this tire for a '03 Yukon Denalli XL; had 2 sets of another passenger-style tire and the OEM tire for the first 110,000 miles. Have less than 2,000 miles experience so far. Ride is not quite as comfortable, but is not that bad considering that it IS a truck, and I am carrying 38 lbs. in them which is 4 more than the old tires. I think that passenger tires are OK for this vehicle if it is used only for a grocery/6 kid hauler, but not for towing, heavy hauling, or off-pavement driving. Road noise is quiet, even with the deeper tread. The side sway is noticeably less than with passenger tires. Traction in light rain is a non-issue; it's like dry pavement. Have to wait to find out about heavy rain, snow or ice, but the ratings say that this tire ranks at the top. These tires don't squeel at extra low speeds and tight turns in parking lots, either (quite embarrasing with old tires as everyone looks to see who is "racing" thru the parking lot). Trailer towing is much more stable. So far, I am well pleased, even though I had to pay 1/3 more for them than the previous make passenger-style tires. Wish I had done it the last time I bought tires.

Excellent Tires!

The first thing that happened after I bought these tires, is that I received a compliment from someone who said they were excellent tires! They were noticed as soon as I pulled up to a local function. I have received better gas mileage, and definitely better traction than ever before!

A new improvement on a classic Michelin

I got 50,000 miles on my old Michelin LTX M/S tires and loved the ride and durability of the tires. When one of them got an unrepairable hole I decided to get four new ones as the exact model had been discontinued. My new LTX MS2 tires are similar and give a great ride with excellent handling and comfort for myself and family. I attribute a lot of my RX300's longevity to these tires. My father once told me that my car would never be better than the rubber I put on it. My decision to put these Michelins on for the first 50000 miles only made it easier to decide what to put on for the next 50000 miles! Thank you Michelin for making the safest and most comfortable tires for my SUV.

This is by far one of the ...

This is by far one of the best tires I have ever ridden on. I have not tested it off road, but I have driven it in the snow. This tire gets excellent wet traction, snow traction, and dry traction. This is a very quiet tire and very comfortable ride. I don't know anyone could go wrong with this one unless you are off road all the time.

Love the LTX MS2's

These tires are the best that I have driven on any of my SUV's. They were more expensive but well worth it. From the minute I saw them on the SUV I notices the very deep tread which should last longer as their reports say. And, the tires are super quiet so the long lasting tread has no downside. I also feel super secure driving on the new tires. I feel the differnece on the road. They grop the road and I feel very safe on them. The only downside is that they have a lower speed rating than the Lattitude or others, but I do not plan on driving 130 mph in my large Nissan Armada. They are worth the extra $100 per tire!

I would buy this product again

I bought Michelin tires because I heard they are safe and long lasting. I do alot of highway driving in all kinds of weather and have felt secure on my Michelins. The performance of these tires has convinced me that they were the best choice. Thank you Michelin Man!

Everyone should drive on Michelins!

I have purchased Michelin Tires for my vehicles for the past 20 years. When I got married a year ago I purchased Michelin Tires for my wife's Jeep. The reason that I have used Michelin's is for a number of reasons. They are in my mind the safest, quietest, most reliable tires on the market. The tread wear is unbelievable. The past two sets I have had on my trucks have gone way past the listed warranty period and still have tread life left. The ride they have provided has been comfortable, quiet and the handling in all types of weather is fantastic. My wife loves her Michelin tires. The ride they have provided is wonderful and we both love to drive her Jeep just because of those tires. Plus on both of our vehicles those tires look great. On many occassions when it comes to guys talking about our vehicles it always comes down to what tires you have on your vehicle. I don't hesitate in responding to those wonderful Michelin's. Thank You Michelin for providing a great tire.

Long life and quiet

I've had these tires on my 3/4 ton truck (225/80-17) for over 60,000 miles. I'll need new set in the next month or so, so I'll probably have around the 70,000 (which matches their stated life span). I have been very happy and the only change I am going to make when getting a new set it so go bigger (taller/wider) for a better look. The 225/80's look pretty small/narrow on my 4x4. Obviously I'm happy with the make/model, as I will be buying them again.
