Beyond expectations!

I have been delighted with the quiet performance of these tires, they transformed the noise level in my Tundra. They display what I'd consider extremely strong wet pavement performance, and we have experienced some serious rains in this area. I am very glad I decided to change to this tire following three sets of all-terrain tires from another mfgr. I was a little concerned about snow traction but quickly learned I'd given up nothing. I have had many Michelin tires since my first set in 1968. Another outstanding design! Since purchase I have found myself in one unanticipated instance of very hard emergency braking and the tires were 100% up to the task.

Tires will not balance properly

We have been very disappointed in this set of Michelins. We have always been loyal Michelin customers. I have them on both our vehicles and on our previous cars as well. I bought a new set to replace the Michelins that finally wore out after over 60,000 miles. This new set will not balance. The dealer replaced two of them stating the sidewalls were out of spec. They still have a vibration between 40-50 miles per hour. Very disappointed and actually thinking about buying another brand for the first time in 15 years.

I have been using ...

I have been using Michelin for many years. I have an SUV and 2 Pickups as well as a car. When I got the SUV, it had another brand tire on it. The tires were nice looking and nice riding.EXCEPT, when it came to rough whether and off road. I did not trust the the tires, especially in the rain. I only had 10000 miles on the tire before I went and purchased my Michelins. Immediately I felt the better ride, and then, put them through the test. As always, Michelin makes sure you feel safe under any driving conditions. Thank you for giving me and my family "Peace of mind"!

First time but not the last.

I purchased these tires to have on our Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD. Specifically for travel pulling a travel trailer. Loaded the pick up is about 6000 pounds and the trailer is @4300. Tongue weight approx. 450 and with a load leveler these tires hold the road terrific! The ride is like a new comfort car and have had many comments on the quietness of the tires. Although I have rotated these tires it seems they wear pretty quick( on the rear) if I go over 5,000 miles before re-rotating again. Currently There are approximately 15,000 miles on these tires. I do all my own rotations, as a lot of times when 2500 miles are up a service station is not available. I know the book says to rotate at longer intervals but, I do not like to use a product down. All in all , A great product. Well deserving of a quality name and I will purchase again.

Better than original equipment

My 2007 Silverado needed new tires and my local shop suggested Michelin M/S2. My father was always a Michelin guy and I know why. The truck runs quieter and handles better than it did off the showroom floor. The tread is aggressive enough for winter driving. After about 15K miles I they still look brand new. Given the lifespan expected and the quality I am very pleased. They are a bit more expensive on the front end but I believe this cost will more than be negated over the life of the tires.

Disappointment

I've bought Michelin tires for the last 15-20 years because of the quality & ride. I've always gotten great mileage out of the tires before needing to replace them until this last set of 4 that I purchased. I was told by the tire dealer that they were the exact same tire that I had purchased before. They weren't! They're wearing out much faster than the previous set...I paid a lot of money for these tires and have to say I'm very disappointed with their performance. I guess it's like too many other products out there....quality has just gone away! Sadly, I recommended these tires to a friend...wish I wouldn't have & won't do it again!

I Trust Them with my Family's Lives!

I have been driving on Michelin's for over 30 years and I had no doubt which tire I wanted for my SUV: Michelin's LTX M/S2. My last set of Michelin's lasted for over 80,000 miles and I finally changed them after 11 years bcz of aging. I have smooth, firm control on the road regardless of the conditions: dry, wet, or snow. Michelin's are the tires I trust with my family's lives as we drive around the country and whenever they need to borrow my SUV for side trips or road trips. Thanks Michelin for giving me peace of mind.

Great Tires, Good Handling on wet roads

Solid, reliable tires that work well on snow and wet roads. Good value and look good too. Had these on Mercury Mariner for almost 2 months now. Used them to replace the original factory tires that came with my vehicle when it was new (as my older tires had 55,000+ miles on them and were starting to make noises and lose traction.) Good warranty on these new Micheline LTX-M/S2 tires.

Best Tires I have ever used

The Michelin LTX tires are the best handling tires I have ever had on my truck. Living in a mountain town were it snows a lot traction is a high priority for me and since purchasing MIchelin tires I do not need to put my truck in 4x4 as much as I used to. This saves on gas driving up the mountain road to go to work. Also got a mpg increase on the highway of 2 miles per gallon and the 70,000 mile warranty I could not have made a better tire choice. If you are not on MIchelin tires you are missing out.

80 Thousand Miles STRONG

I used Michelin tires because they perform as promised. Bought 4 tires for my Tundra and 4 tires for my Honda pilot. Both got over 75,000 miles of rugged use on them. I have a blueberry farm in down east Maine that sees, mud, gravel, and lots of snow. We are .75 miles in to the blueberry fields and have never gotten stuck. I travel 320 miles one way every 4 weeks to Rhode Island and the highway ride is as good a performance as anything. Quiet, sure grip, and responsive. I ask myself , why doesn't everybody but Michelins? I'm fussy, these tires are fantastic, period. Michelin strong! Thanks.
