- 5 out of 5 stars review8/8/2013I have owned several tire brands in the past. I have also owned a set of LTX M/S on another vehicle. When it was time for a new set on my truck it was an easy decision. If you consider ride quality, fuel economy and tire cost per mile. There is no tire that can compete with the LTX.
least expensive tire available
indy440Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/16/2013I put these tires on my trunk about 9 months ago, and I couldn't be happier with the tires. My truck handles so much better now then ever did with my old tires. It gets better gas milage, and after 9 months of driving the tires still look brand new, you can not even tell that they have been used at all. I well definitely buy these tires again
great tires
CWOOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/6/2012I have a 2004 Dodge Ram with 268,000 miles. I have used only Michelin tires since new (including as delivered). I have never had to have any of them balanced after initial mounting and project that my current set will last 85,000 - 90,000 miles. I use this truck every day and occasionally tow a 10,000 trailer. I always buy Michelin tires for all of my vehicles!
50,000 miles and going strong !!
RutherfordOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/23/2012I purchased the tires for my 2009 Nissan Pathfinder. I didn't want to go with the OEM tire again so based on ratings and reviews for all the different tires I went with the Michelin's. Couldn't have made a better decision. My Pathfinder has never driven so smooth or quite. And they look great too! Cant' wait to see how they handle in the winter. The tire company tried to sell me every other tire for my SUV but I held firm and had them order the ones I wanted. He even told me this would not be in the top 10 tires he would put on his own SUV. Then a couple weeks later I had to go back to the same store for my husbands car (he ordered the Michelin Defenders) and when I told the same salesman I loved my new tires his exact words were, "I KNEW y...
LTX M/S2 for Nissan Pathfinder
Hali3Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 2 out of 5 stars review8/21/2017We have been driving on these tires since December, 2012 with no problems at all. They handle well, ride smooth and haven't required balancing since purchase. I ran over a nail and flattened one of the tires. AAA changed to the spare for us and upon inspection of the flattened as well as the remaining tires, I can see cracking all in the tread and sidewalls of all of the tires. We currently have about 45000 miles on them and am now concerned for the safety of the vehicle as this is my wife's car. I have never had this issue on my many vehicles. I have mixed emotions about giving this tire a good review due to the cracking.
Concerned about Cracking
Pete DOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/31/2013After seeing that every ambulance in town had these LTS MS2 tires I figured I needed to try a set on my Range Rover. After 2 sets, amazing winter traction, a great ride, and getting 70K+ miles both times, I am sold! Now that my trusty old ride is ready to retire, I've been searching for SUVs that have wheels in a size that will accomodate this tire. The vehicle itself is strangely the secondary consideration. Please don't change a thing (except for adding more sizes ;-). Thank You, bob.
Best Tire I've Ever Had
Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review9/5/2013I purchased the tires for my 2010 F150 4wd. I use this truck for everything, but it is primarily driven on pavement. I have had the truck in snow, mud, and rocky terrain and the tires provided better traction than I had anticipated. The tires are perfect for what I use them for, but I would recommend a more aggressive tread pattern if you spend more time off road driving. The tires are quiet with no vibrations, and the tread wear is very good. I have a little over 20k miles on them and still plenty of tread left. They handle great on wet, snowy, and dry roads.
Great tires
Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/12/2010I have been running Michelin tires for 25 years. They have provided the best all weather braking and the longest wear, that those I used before. After purchase of a new car, I sell the factory tires and replace them with "My road insurance policy" new Michelin's.

Traveler3Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/3/2015I've purchased a few other name brands for a few other cars I've owned & Michelin so far is the best I've owned. I currently drive a 2003 Jeep Liberty Renegade & have had 2 other sets of tires on them, the most recent were Uniroyal. Horrible, at least for this vehicle. I purchased 4 of the LTX M/S2 & while I've only had these on for a few days, I have been able to drive in wet weather. They ride & handle phenomenally! No slipping, sliding, or hydroplaning. The ride is so smooth it's unbelievable; I never thought this vehicle could ride so nicely. Evidently it's not the vehicle, but the tire. Best tire by far!
Best Tires I've Purchased
NJHunterOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013This is an amazing wearing light truck tire. Set was purchased for a 2008 Dodge 3500 Dually and it commutes atleast 10 miles of rock daily, and with already 8,500 miles on the set. Rides smooth compared to the previous set of tire that were on it. Use in livestock fields as well with no problems with traction, very satisfied with the tires.
Awesome tire, incredible wear.
jhurstOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013The used 2003 Ranger that we purchased was rather unstable on the road. While obviously needing shocks/struts, we suspected that the existing and not badly worn tires were at least part of the problem. By putting the Michelin LTX tires on our little truck, the ride was very significantly stabilized, and the tires ran a lot quieter. We have seen this behavior on both our E150 van and our Escape, so this was more expected than a surprise - though always welcomed.
Major stability improvement
bb22Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/12/2010I purchased the Michelin all season tires for all 3 of my conversion vans over the past 30 years. I do have to say that this latest M/S2 tire is by far the best tire on the market for comfort, braking and travel in snow. Van's can be difficult to drive in snow but these M/S2 handle extremely well in inclement weather conditions. I would highly recommend these tires if your looking for an all season tire with comfort, excellent braking and good traction in all weather conditions.

Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/14/2017I ran the LTX M/S on my 2001 F150, I went through 3 sets of tires averaging 130000 miles per set, the truck had 526000 miles on it when I replaced it and the last set still had serviceable tread. I now have a 2014 f150 and replaced the factory skins with LTX at 54000, i'm looking forward to 100k plus miles on them on this truck as well. Traction was great in rain or snow, no noise and a comfortable ride.
Incredable Tire
pdhamOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review1/30/2014This is my 3rd set of these tires and they are in use on same car. I have used michelin tires since 2003 but these new tires have a bumpy feel. The retailer says they can't find anything wrong but I can tell from years of using this same brand that something is wrong with one of the rear tires. The car shakes and the ride is not pleasant. Don't know if the quality has decreased. I hope the retailer will find the problem because I can't believe there is a better tire than Michelin.
not as smooth as the other two sets

Superior wet and dry traction was what sold me on them; has helped me avoid accidents twice in the last 6000 miles, The only tires I'll use on this truck as long as I own it.
Best tires Ive put on my Ranger
SammyOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/6/2012The LTX M/S2 is a great tire. I had the LTX M/S tire and did more than 80 thousand miles through rain and more than 20 major snow storms 100's of mountain pass crossings with out one bit of problem. The LTX M/S2 tire new tread compound is looking like it has even better wet and icy road holding qualities. Road noise and ride are better than any other SUV tire I have ever experienced. I operate a fleet of vehicles and time and again Michelin Tire prove they are the best.
Great tire!
talkcarOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/19/2013My wife was hesitant on me spending more for this tire. They were installed on her 2002 Ford Explorer with 125,000 + miles. She was totally amazed when she picked her Explorer up after the new Michelin M/S2's were installed. It drives, rides and handles like a brand new vehicle. Thank you Michelin.
Amazing!!!
Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/14/2013I bought these for a 2009 Nissan Frontier V6 2wd and love them so far! I did a lot of research before my purchase and decided it was worth the little extra money to upgrade to tires that seemed to have great reviews everywhere I researched. I realize I've only had them a few months and time will tell how well they really are, but so far they are FAR better than the original tires that came with the truck. The ride is much smoother and dry/wet traction is also better than at any time I've owned the truck. Would definitely recommend taking a look at these if you're in the market for tires...worth the money considering safety and longevity.
Great tires!
djwtarheelOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013Unbeatable! I can't think of another word to describe these tires! Stable, quiet, sticky. I can go on and on. These tires are on my F-350 4x4 dually. This truck isn't exactly built to be a luxurious, comfortable ride or a curve hugging sports car but now my wife even likes to drive this truck because it feels more like her SUV, which has "Michelin Defender" tires on it. Sure, I paid about 10% more for these tires, but now that I have experienced them, I would have paid 25% more! I did get almost 90,000 miles out of the OEM tires but they never performed like these tires do. Auto manufacturers should consider putting these on as OEM tires. I use this truck for almost everything from pulling construction equipment trailers, to going to church...
Unbeatable!!!
EZEEOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013I have a 97 Chevy Silverado 4wd regular cab. The Michelin LTX MX2s are by far the best tires Ive ever owned. They ride so smooth and quiet. They dont vibrate or shake at all. My fuel economy went up and the truck drives more straight. Ive had all kinds of truck tires and never liked any of them until i got these. They are worth the money. They grip real well on wet roads and also off the road. I really like them a lot.
Excellent tires
