- 5 out of 5 stars review8/15/2013I used to buy just any old tires for my trucks then my tire dealer talked me into trying the LTX. That was it, the ride, handleing, grip on and off road and not forgetting how long they lasted was impressive. I just bought a new set for my ford F250 , the last set ran for nine years. If thats not a selling point I don't know what would would be.
Great all around tire
GREASEMANOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/10/2013Possibly the best light duty truck tire on the market. The first set of LTX M / S2 performed so well we purchased a second set after 60,000 miles. Traction is exceptional in all types of weather even in snow on a 2WD pickup truck. Ride is much smoother than most other tires in the same class. Tread wear is consistent across the tread pattern which helps maintain a comfortable ride for many miles. Tires preform well as far as handling and these tires appear to be quieter then most other brands. Good investment if you need a dependable tire that performs well in all conditions.
Good Long Term Investment $
Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/14/2013This is my 2nd set of Michelin LTXs on my GMC Sierra 2500HD and the first with the new tread compound. At 50,000 km the wear is good, the tires are still whisper quiet. These are not aggressive looking tires but the traction is excellent on and off road (gravel) and in the winter (-5). I will buy another set when these wear out.
Love these tires
SierracrewOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/13/2010I love Michelin tires! I believe they are the best tire made hands down. Michelin tires wear well, handle great and have a quiet ride. They are unmatched in snow or rain. I feel safer knowing I have Michelins on my vehicle during any type of weather. I would and have recommended Michelins to others. I put a set of Michelins on my daughters vehicle before she left for college. I truly do mean everything I've said about Michelin tires.By far the best tire on the road!

Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/11/2013We have put about 50,000 miles on these tires and we use them mostly for three season highway driving on our 4X4 SUV. They have a great ride, handle well in the rain and light snow. We also use them off road on dirt, gravel and mud field roads. They are not as good as a true A/T or mud tire off road, but they are sure footed enough to use off road for light duty driving. We are very pleased with how good an all around tire this is and how well they wear. I would buy this tire again and wouldn't feel the need to shop around for something better.
Great SUV tire
jumpndogOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/25/2015Went on road trip from Long Island to Massachusetts. Tires performed as I hoped they would. Quiet, held road well at high speed and on curves. Good on unpaved road also. I think they will do well this winter on snow based on the look of the treads. Haven't driven in rain yet since it seems it never rains anymore on Long Island but I think they will do well in rain. So far very happy with my purchase.
Very Happy After 500 miles
Chief EdOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013Great tire !if you are looking for a tire that grips and last a very long time, these are it.i have over 40,000 miles on this set and they are hardly worn, you can find cheaper tires, but you will go through two sets of them compared to these.i highly recommend these tires!!!!
Best truck tire !
Hog68Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/15/2013My previous tires on my truck were Michelin and I got great tire wear and mileage. I'm keeping this truck as long as possible so when it was time to change tires it was a no brainer. I again chose Michelin LTX M/S2 for safety and durability. I expect to get in excess of the stated mileage of the tire the same as I got with my first set. I will continue to purchase Michelin tires for my wife's auto for the safety and great ride.
Great Tire for Safety and Comfort
Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/14/2013This is my second set of the LTX M/S, but this time I went with the LTX M/S2. Smooth ride, rugged, go anywhere, tackle any terrain. I can use any surface or no surface at all when I am using the back roads of Virginia (some of these roads really would not be considered back roads) but the ride, and the performance from the LTX M/S2 are fantastic. I would give this product, 5 STARS
Want the best, get the Michelin LTX2
Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review9/7/2016Bought Michelins to replace OEM brand (2 sets) that only lasted about 30k each on our 2002 Ford Ranger Tremor. I spent the extra money because of the advertised 70k guarantee. I keep the air pressure set and rotate every 6k as requested and do not drive aggressive. It is almost time to replace the Michelins. 5/32's left at 51k miles. The prior 2 sets were so noisy I thought the front wheel bearings were shot. I thought I was driving a different truck after installing the Michelins as the noise was gone. My wife really noticed the difference as this is her daily transportation. I will be buying another set of Michelins in the coming weeks.
My not reach 70k but almost double my OEM tires so far.
GregOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/15/2012I put these tires on my 2008 Tundra because I had a set just like them on my 94 F150. On that truck, I put 80,000 miles on the tires, sold the truck to my grandson in PA and the truck passed PA inspection with the tires on it!! They are quiet, smooth, and handle great. By keeping them properly inflated and rotated every 5Kmiles, I expect these to last for years and many, many miles.
LOVE these tires
Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013Travelling over 3000 miles per month in Arizona from Yuma to Four Corners and Kingman to Douglas, I am confident that the tires I am riding on will get me there and back safely. I pull over 5000 pounds on many of these trips and have complete confidence that I am safe and secure to do the trip every time. I get the same tires every 80,000 miles and would never think of any other brand but Michelin for my Ford F350 Super Duty.
Over 3000 miles per month confidence
PhilOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/27/2014Tires are on a 2013 XLT F150 with heavy tow package. I pull an Ultralight 30' Travel Trailer, 24' Cuddy Cabin Sea Ray Boat, and Car Trailer with my Hot Rods. Michelin tires have proven to me in the past to be the best tire for me. I have nothing but good to say about their tires. Thanks Michelin!! Skip

Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013We have a 2005 Dodge 2500 4x4 and pull a 30' fifth wheel! We take long trips and the previous tires we had on the truck were off road tires! Very rough ride. Just got our new Michelein tires and love them. A lot soother ride for long distance. No more bouncy bouncy which I hate, especially being older. Love these tires!
Great Truck Tire for long trips!
llkronerOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013I am on my 3rd set of LTX M/S LTX M/S2 tires. I have a 99 GMC yukon & had other brand tires when I bought my truck. Changed tires right away & what a GREAT difference they have made in the ride & especially the overall wear of the tire. My husband has changed to the same tire on his truck. We will NEVER buy anything other than LTX M/S or the LTX M/S2, ever. Sincerely Della Puryfoy Morehead City,NC
LTX M/S
Della224Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013I replaced the Michelin Cross Terrains on my 2004 Ford Ranger with the LTX MS2's and they are great. Bad experiences with other brands, eg. loud tire noise, uneven and poor wear, led me to the Michelin brand on my truck, and I have been very pleased with them. I got over 40,000 miles on the Cross Terrains, in some not-so-light duty, and so far the new LTX MS2 has exceeded my expectations, while doing some heavy lifting. Snow and hills in Pennsylvania, cement blocks for my garage, and sand and pavers for the patio, I've found they really handle well, and can handle the load. Michelin is the premier tire for people who care about performance and safety. Thanks Michelin, I'll keep putting you on my truck, and my wife's SUV!
Keep on Truckin'
TVROriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013Great tires. Bought another brand to save money prior to these. Worn out in 40,000 miles. The previous two sets of these tires lasted 80,000 miles each. So the money I thought I was saving in fact cost me. Only Michelins for me from now on. Lesson learned.
Great Tires
Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013Have used this tire on my Jeep 2012 Grand Cherokee in mountain winters and summer plains and it is the best tire out there for one all around tire. Performes well in snow and packed snow common on winter roads and drives the dry interstates at 75 with little road noise and great handling. Excellent on moderate offroads. Have towed trailers with these tires also and felt very confident with them. It is a premium tire and performs as such. Wouldn't buy anything else in the future. I have not used or heard of a tire with better characteristics that can handle a variety of tasks.
Best winter and summer tire
mtndriverOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/25/2014I have purchased many SUV tires and so far these are great. Nebraska winters can be harsh so I look forward to seeing how they handle, however I drive highway and these handle great with no road noise and 80mph is no problem. I average 25k a year so hoping these last. I have a 2002 Grand Cherokee. Went with the optional size of 235 and they look great. Not too small looking and don't rub the front bumper.
Excellent tires
LanaGOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013I purchased these tires 11 months ago for my 06 Silverado 4wd crew cab. The tires ride great, and have never had any road noise. The outside edges of the front tires never show signs of wear, even though its a 4wd vehicle! Tire rotation every 6 thousand miles! The reason that I purchased Michelin tires is because of their reputation as the best tire on the road, and I've had previous cars that had Michelin tires on them. These tires save you money in the long run in fuel economy and durability. I use this truck for transportation to and from work, towing cars on a car hauler and transportation everywhere else.
