Over the years I have had ...

Over the years I have had many sets of Michelins on our different vehicles. From the Latitude series on a minivan to the Cross Terrian and now the new MS2's are on a Jeep GC, Pacifica and a F-150. 3 of our 4 vehicles all have Michelin tires. We're only waiting for the 4th set of OE tires to wear out to replace them with a new set of Michelins. With the exception of one set falling a little short of the mileage (teenage driver) every set has exceeded all the mileage expectancy's. They are the quietest tire on the road. Not only is that great, but we live in Colorado and spend a significant amount of time in the mountains. The traction abilities of the MS2's is outstanding on dry surfaces and fantastic in the rain and snow (shallow or deep) conditions of mountain driving. Where my OE tires would lock up and skid on a hard brake situation, the MS2's are still gripping. From my experience, I would guess to say at least 10 ft. shorter stopping distance. Even though the performance is outstanding, the ride quality is outstanding as well and not compromised at all. Would I put another set on our cars? There would never be another brand of tire on my cars or trucks in the future. Period.

I trust Michelin for all my vehicles.

I am a full time 5th wheeler pulling a 36 FT fiver with my 2005 F350. I have over 160000MI on my truck. This is the 3rd set of Michelins on it. OE were Some other brand which only lasted 30,000MI. Love the feel and handling of the Michelin. I am confident using them. My only concern was the lower than expected mileage.

on an older Yukon we used ...

on an older Yukon we used the older tire modle the LTX M/S and were thrilled. Now that we have a newer Yukon that needed tires I without hesitation purchased the LTX M/S2. With my first drive we were going to be equally thrilled. Just as the I expected the tire was quite and rides very nice. Traction in all "noraml" conditions have been all we expected and more. Now, granted this is not a true mudd and snow tire but then again most of us do not drive off road in mud nor drive in unplowed roads or if they are unplowed they will only have a few inches of snow waiting for the plow to come back through again. And I must say for all normal situations this tire as been very very good. I can not speak to the wear on the M/S2's however is there are as good (they are supposed to be better) as the older M/S's I am expecting great wear life. On our old truck we have 35,000 on the tires with city, hwy and snow driving and the tires still looked like new and in most case still had more tread remaining than much of the "new" tires you could buy. If you are considering this tire for real world driving you will not be disapointed. And although they are a bit of an investment up front consides these 2 points.....your car may have the greates brake and traction control system but are always limited by the traction offered by the tires, these are very good for traction. Next, when you consider the wear life of these tires verses the compitition (especially budget tires) and veres thier wear life and price....the LTX M/S's, in the long run will prove to be among the best value available.

Hands down the best tires ever made!!!!!

I am getting ready to buy my third set and would not even consider a different brand. I have got 90k miles out of my previous two sets and have nothing but great things to say. Yes, they are more expensive than other brands but you get what you pay for, great quality and peace of mind. Never had a flat tire leaving me stranded somewhere, just awesome.

Want Comfort?

If you want comfort when driving, these may be the tires you are looking for. After major research and feedback from the tire shop, I decided to purchase the Michelin LTX M/S2 tires in November 2011. This has been a purchase I never regretted making. These are tires are what customers were raving about, plus more. I love the comfort and handling on the road. They're smooth in dry and wet conditions. Sure, you may spend a little more to purchase these tires; but the dismal additional expense is well worth it. I love these tires!

Mounted on new 2017 tundra

20.000 miles so far been off roading including rock climbing and they still look great. I thought the tread looked mild for off roading but the traction was no problem. Nice and quiet on the highway too. Plenty of tread left. Would like a little more aggressive tread .

Michilin LTX M/S 2

We just had 48 straight hours of rain and during the entire time I felt very safe and secure knowing that I had these tires on my truck. I felt like I had control of my vehicle the entire time I was on the road. I am very pleased with my purchase and have peace of mind going into winter.

Not sure I made the right decision

I have a vibration in the steering. Not an improper balance type vibration. Seems like excessive run out on one of the front tires. It has been there since the first time I drove it. I have not been back to the dealer yet. Expecting to "spin my wheels" while it is blamed on anything but tires. I will get it to them soon to be checked and will give them a benefit of doubt. I am holding off on replacing tires on my daughter's vehicle to see where this goes. If it is not resolved then I will not spend the extra money on Michelins.

Replacement Tires

Bought these tires to replace a set of Michelin Latitudes that were dry rotting that only had 52k on them. We purchase Michelin for all of our cars and we expect the best from them, these LTX's are no difference. The LTX's are quite and feel awesome!

Would certainly buy these tires again!

I wanted a great tire for my Sequoia and made the right choice. The car runs smooth and quiet which I wanted. Don't do a lot of highway driving but that is when you know you have a great tire. Excellent in snow and I feel totally safe. I have nothing negative to say about the Michelin LTX M/S 2.
