I purchased 4 new tires ...

I purchased 4 new tires at the end of Oct,2010 There was a noticable difference from the tires I had . The tires went on my 07 Yukon & will be used as all year tires. I live in NY about 90 miles from the city. We do get snow & many times plenty of it. So far there hasn't been any & I hope it stays that way--but winter is winter ?. The tires have been on the Yukon for almost a month & there are about 1800 miles already,& you are able to feel the difference. The ride is much smoother, the handling on dry roads & rain has been great.- We are road warriors & do put miles on our vehicles. Besides the Yukon, which now has 87,000 miles there is a 04 Corvette & a Infinity M35x (which will need new tires after the winter) I will definatly research Michelins for the M. I will review the LTX M/S2 after we have had snow for my complete review.

Just pulled off my LTX ms2's

Just pulled off my LTX MS2's from my 2007 Chevy Silverado 3500. Ran them for 136,000 miles so far. I will be putting them back on in the spring. Since the truck is 2wd I wanted to try a winter tire this year. Went with the LTX WINTER. This is my second set of LTX tires, the first were the original LTX MS. I ran those for 140,000 miles, removed them and sold them to a guy that is still running them. Most likely up to around 150,000 mile by now. The MS2's were great for all season driving. Never took truck off road so dont know about that. Kept them at 80psi and rotated/rebalanced every 7-9000 miles

best set of tires money can buy

i have a 2000 suburban and needed a set of tires and asked a friend about the m/s 2's and gave me a high recomendation and was able to get them for a very good price. after having them on the truck now a good 6 months they are the best tires i have ever invested in, looking at them they dont look like much but i have backed up my driveway on a sheet of ice and they did not spin or slip..even drove up a friends driveway on a sheet of ice to show him how well the tires perform and was in toatl shock since we both have never seen tires do that even with trucks that have all-terrain tires on. these tires are everything advertised from snow and ice to heavy rain these tires make you feel that contact to the road especially for puddles that under normal circumstances that would cause hydro-plain. the cost of the tires is a bit pricey but you have to remember the old saying"you get what you pay for" and keep in mind its an investment and as long as you keep your tire pressures right and keep em rotated they WILL last. the cost of the tires, manufacturers warranty and the road hazzard warranty bought through place of purchase to me was excellent value and i am a michelin customer now as long as they keep making the product as good as it is or better...i will buy another set when the time comes, these tires make my truck ride so smooth i noticed an immediate difference in ride comfort as soon as i drove off from buying them, truck almost rides like a cadillac lol...thanks michelin!!

"Great tire for all around use"

I highly recommend this tire for all around use for your light truck. I tow around 5800 lbs. each weekend in the summer and haven't had a lick of problems with these tires. They not only perform well under heavy duty applications but are very smooth when not towing also. Great tire!

Long lasting on highway driving

By far the best tires I have ever owned. Replaced the Wranglers on my 2013 Ram 1500 4.5 years ago and spent a little extra for Michelin. Best choice I made. I have 90k miles on this set (almost exclusively highway driving) and I finanly need a new set. Could probably get to 100k but winter is coming! Can't recomend them enough.

Love my LTX M/S2's

For a SUV or Truck, whether 4x4 or 2x4 there is not another tire that I will go with. I know people in the tire business and people in the auto business and both swear (as i do ) by Michelin. I'm not sure why other tire makers can't do the same thing, but they can't. I get great treadwear, mileage, ride and traction out of the MS/2's that I keep putting them on everything I own. There is a reason that these are the best selling truck tire, even if they are expensive, THEY ARE WORTH IT!

70,000++

Since I was a young lad in my teens, I have been using Michelins. It took me a few sets of tires, being a motor head, leadfoot kid to figure out that the Michelin Tire Company had the best product. From age 17-21 I sold and installed most other brands of tires and Michelins. All during the mid to late '70s into the early '80s. This wasn't long after the introduction of the radial tires on all production cars. Other manufacturers had radials, but Michelins ruled on quality and performance without any failures. Where I worked, we never had anyone have problems with the Michelin tires. Thirty five years since those days, I have always had purchased Michelins. Co-workers at my present day work balk at the price. But after I inform them with proper maintenance completed on a set of Michelin M/S2s on a truck, I have driven over 73,000 miles, city, highaway and highly crowned bumpy country roads this last set of M/S2s have just passed the state's yearly inspection, they are flabergasted. I just tell them, drive normally, maintain the truck's suspension and tire pressure, the tires will outlast just about any other tires on the market. I also have a set of the Primacy MXV4s on my VW Jetta. Thank you Michelin for the R&D that you have put into the tires, whether they are car passinger or these M/S2s, thanks. I will be buying another set shortly. They are one of those investments that I believe you don't short change yourself due to the comfort and safety factors. Peace of mind goes a long way, 73,000+ miles...

Great Tires , would purchase again

I originally purchased these tires for my 2008 Silverado once the OEM tires wore out. I then purchased a 2011 Silverado and had the tires from the 2008 installed on the 2011 due to the lousy tires that were on the Chevy product. I had 20,000 miles on the tires when I put them on the new vehicle and have now accumulated 17,000 more miles and they still have plenty of tread.

Safety Is Number One Priorty

I have been using Michelin tires on both of my vehicles for years. I recently purchased another four LTX/MS2 tires for my SUV, after several years, and miles on the previous LTX/MS that I had purchased a few years ago. During my years of employment, my job would take me from the east to the west coast on various assignments where I had to drive to these locations due to personal gear I needed, and which was required for my line of work. The safety afforded by these Michelin tires, the quality, and the workmanship that goes into them have always been my core reasons for purchasing these. Now that I am retired we are constantly travelling on the road, my family's safety is of the utmost as it always has been, and I travel with great peace of mind. Thank you Michelin for a great product.

Tire tread has long life when preserved

Rotating my tires regularly has preserved the life of my tire, however after 45K miles, the truck begins to ride very rough and feels like i need new ones again. Trying to decide if the extra money was worth it, i am assuming so....but tempting to try another brand and compare.
