Nice assortment

These are cakes, sickenly sweet cakes. This a dessert platter. Good for bringing to an event or a party. We bought this for holiday week breakfast. Strong artificial flavoring, threw the red ones away. The apple ones were the only breafasty one. Will throw most away. Very dissappointing.

I bought this platter for a brunch party. Needless to say, I was begging people to take leftovers home because they were practically untouched. I discovered why after trying them at home. They were sickeningly sweet, and the flavors tasted off. The red swirl was like eating cough syrup cake. The apple pastry tasted bland and stale (though they were "fresh" per the packaging date). Even my dessert-loving kid spit it out. Sam's bakery items are normally a hit. This was a swing, and a huge mess that was literally $20 in the trash.

The cakes were moist, but the flavors got lost. I could barely taste the banana or the berry flavors on the swirl cakes. I know, I know, the flavors should not be overpowering, but they should be a bit more present. The lemon and the apple crumb were very good with great flavor! The apple turnover was a total bust. It was dry hard and flavorless, while the "apple" filling was none existent. Even the icing was flavorless. We threw those away. They could leave out the turnover and reduce the price, or replace it with the apple crumb and leave the price the same. Now, for convenience, it was not bad, but I'm going to brush off the baking apron and get busy! Unfortunately I don't think that I'll buy this breakfast platter again!

Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Great portion size too

This was such a hit with the whole family! My favorite was the Chocolate Banana Swirl! We had no leftovers after our party!
