Problems

I bought these along with their cookies for an even. Everyone loved the breakfast pasties platter items. The cookies were not good. The breakfast platter flavors were great. Good variety. I wish they would have had a coffee cake with crumbles on there. Otherwise I loved them and so did my members and teams. I would definitely buy them again. Cookies though, no way I will buy again. Just saying.

First, I only like my banana bread, and with walnuts, so...not a fan; my husband ate two. The lemon is a nice little vanilla cake with light lemon icing. Our apple thingy dough was not cooked, so I cooked two in toaster oven (not really good, but edible with ice cream), then found two molded in the middle and threw them all out. The crumb cakes were delicious. The berry swirl is vanilla cake with light berry flavor, and not bad, but I'm not a fan of that either.

They were good and had plenty on the tray! The only things i can really comment on is that the chocolate banana one did not have enough of the banana or chocolate flavor but was very moist. The other thing is that the berry one tasted slightly like perfume to me. They were still very good and everyone enjoyed them. They also stayed fresh for a while!

This is an economic platter for large gatherings and a nice variety, although the apple was dry to me and fell flat. the lemon velvet cake was the all out fav- phenomenal taste and texture! If Sam's were to make a platter of those alone, they would probably outsell the variety platter seven times over! No exaggeration. Hint hint.

The reviews were this were pretty decent, so I thought I'd get them for the upcoming family gathering. I'm SO glad my husband and I tried them before setting them out (at first I did, then my husband did since he didn't think they could be as bad as my face alluded to). He likes lemon pastries, and he said the lemon ones were "just okay"--definitely the best of all of the flavors. We're both fans of banana bread, and the banana/chocolate ones were not good at all. The apple ones were the 2nd ones we were most hoping we'd all enjoy, and they were flavorless and dry (except they had absorbed a bit of the lemon from the neighboring lemon cakes. All of these, except for the lemon that my husband labeled as "okay", were not even decent and not anything you'd want to waste calories on eating. The flavors just taste weird. I would never buy them again, and I certainly wouldn't serve them at any function where I wanted the guests to actually enjoy the food. Sam's Club has some great products; unfortunately, this is just not one of the winners.

Excellent taste, texture and quality. They were a hit at my Halloween party!
