Bought it first time it was super good. Come back buy another it become hard can’t not ripe so I have to throw it away

Unfortunately, this is the worst item I bought at Sam's Club. I sliced it yesterday for breakfast and still it was not ripe.

I was surprised to see papaya at Sam’s! Not quite ripe, but I’m used to letting them sit on the counter for a few days. Great price! I’m bummed though that not all of the Sam’s in my area carry them. I picked this one up while running errands outside my normal area, and when I went to my usual Sam’s they didn’t have any?

I keep trying papayas from Mexico and I'm always disappointed. Those at Sam's Club are no different. I used to travel to Brazil regularly and their papayas were wonderful. Maybe it's just what your accustomed to. So, I'd say pass on those sold at SC as they have little flavor, and what flavor there is is not particularly good.

I ordered and I picked up my order but the staffs does not think like me because the papaya should not be too ripe that it will be bad in a day or two. If I order only one fruit l"papaya" okey then give me a ripe fruit in my cart but if I have a lot of fruits on my order, please check by the color or by touch if it is too ripe before putting in my cart because I cannot be inside the store. Also the big "spinach Popeye" that was given to me will expire in 2 days that I have to cooked all of it the same day I bought it othewise I have to pick out the bad parts of the spinach and throw it. There are some bad spinach already in the big bag and it is hard to go through all the spinach and threw the bad ones out. I understand that your staffs work so hard. I appreciate the pick up system that you have very much but this happened 2 times already so I just cooked all of the spinach and make a soup out of it so that I don't complain and call your store. Since I got this screen while trying to be in your website, so I decided to answer it and share my thoughts. Also there is only 3 of us to eat this big spinach and we cannot finish eating these in 2 day like eating like a salad. So I have to cooked the spinach and make a soup just so I can eat these spinach that will expire in 2 days. Please check also expiration dates of milk, cheese, vegetables like spinach , fruits ( through touch or color, and other perishable foods when we have order in pick up. I also happened in my milk. I normally order 3 bottles of milk and I will received one of the milk with expiration dates 2 days. Hope they will look at the expiration dates before putting in my cart. Thanks so much.

Since refrigerates all of their produce, so you can't even get it home and cut it up the next dang day. Because then it's all bruised up. You can see what's bruised and moldy can't use it. It's trash. I get to bring home their trash and throw it away so I can't use it. Cause they have to refrigerate it in order to transport it and stuff but i've never had this issue with any other store , but sam's
