Love this expandable prep tub. Great to marinate small or larger items. Easy to use and the price is wonderful compared to similar prep tubs. Easy clean up too.

I dislike this because the drain leaks. Other wise it is great for storage but when the drain leaks, I have to clen the inside of the refrigerator. This is not acceptable.

This is my 2nd Cuisinart Marinade Tub. This one is wider than the other and has an option for drainage. I wouldn't cut any food on the surface as the base is not a cutting board, nor is the lid. However, the lid can double as a serving and/or prep tray itself. The lid fits but has minor wiggle room and can easily be lifted as it doesn't snap into place as the smaller one. Another great feature is it has pull out support that snap under each handle, which is optional of course. Mine hasn't felt like it'll collapse w/o force so I haven't used them just yet, but I'm happy that options there as its not on the smaller one. They snap back into place at the bottom of the tub. It doesn't interfere with storage. Grilling seasons off to a nice start! This would make a great gift and I highly recommend it. What more can I say? It's Cuisinart, so you already know you're getting great quality at an affordle price. Don't hesitate. Buy! You won't regret it. It’s great in size and functionality. However, I used it as an ice container for a lemonade bar at a birthday party and it kept leaking and causing other stuff on the table to get wet. Didn’t see a whole and made sure the drain plug was closed but the condensation from the ice was not ideal.

I really wanted to love this. Good concept but bad design. Brittle plastic. Leg snapped immediately first use. Now it rocks on three legs. Lid doesn’t seal, just sits on surface. Can’t be used as food storage. Rubber folds attract grease, hard to wash from nooks and folds. Especially when camping. Drain is USELESS: Sink drain is non-standard size, non-standard threads, and the lip is too short to hose clamp or attach any drainage tube, adapter, or hose barb. Totally unusable. Must keep plugged at all times or else it drains right onto your SHOES during use.
