I DO NOT know how these trash bags got any 5 star ratings. I switched to Hefty because the Member Mark bags had gone down in quality. Well, these are not any better. They are so thin that no matter how little you put in them they rip if there is so much as a square shape to anything. No pressure or sharp edge is required. They rip. They leak. I was bagging up some excess cleaning products and I threw away a spray bottle of water that had less than a 1/4 cup of water in it. The bag was not full (only about 1/8 filled), not moved (I put everything in the bag without moving the bag), and when I went to pick it up to take it out to the trash can, there was a puddle on the floor. So, my question is, what are you meant to put in these bags? Air? That's about all they are good for and THAT would probably leak too.

I have used the "Hefty Strong Large Trash Can Liner Bags, 33 Gallon, 48 Count" , 1.05 mil trash bags for years and they are great. I saw this 90 count box which claims to be 1.05 mil and it seemed like a good deal. WRONG! The biggest problem is that the drawstrings tear out of the bag with the slightest pull making it nearly impossible to close the bag. The bags also tear easier than the 48 count product. I tried about 10 bags thinking maybe there was just one or two bad ones, but EVERY ONE had at least one drawstring pull out. I have asked the seller to accept a return. Look for the 48 count box, UPC 13700 86048. It is a MUCH better trash bag.

If I could give a negative five stars I would. I bought a large box of Heavy Duty Hefty, 33 gal trash bags. The bottom of these bags gave way three times, and dumped trash on my kitchen floor. I now use two bags to avoid a disaster. I will never buy Hefty trash bags again!

The trash bags came with two big rolls and one of the rolls I couldn’t even use. The seam at the bottom of the bags on that particular roll was not sealed so when I went to grab the bag full of trash and lifted it up out of the can all the trash fell through the bottom of the bag I then checked the rest of the bags on that roll and they were all like that. The other roll was fine

these bags and the blue ties lack the strength of Sam's MM bags. I filled 10 bags yesterday - 8 Hefty, 2 Sams. 6 Hefty blue ties stretched, broke and ripped thru the bag. needed to partially fill with leaves and pine needles. Was able to tie and pull both Sam's bags out of the can without ripping the bag open. Don't be fooled by a marketing person printing " ultra strong" and supper stretch on a box.

I thought I would try the name brand trash bags since they were on sale and basically the same price as the store band. Well, these bags break to easily. The simplest items will pole a hole in the bag or even when grabbing it out of the trash can the bag will rip open. The member mark trash bags are much better.

This is the best Home outside trash Bags I think, because they are the toughest Bags I ever used. They do not tear at all unless you happen to put some glass in these Bags, then maybe or probably they may tear. But in the long run, You don't put any kind of glass in these Bags at all. Just rugular trash for outside.

I use these in the kitchen as well as outdoors. Our garbage is typically items that don't get recycled or composted. My experience is that the bag will hold more that I am comfortable carrying across the house. It handles normal garbage with ease. I like the larger bag for indoors because I don't have to worry about bulky garbage and I just top it off with the satellite bins from around the house. I would enjoy the White Pine scented version if Sam's could carry that option in this bag count.

Hefty bags, great as always, great price, BUT, they smell like DEODORANT. I would have returned them because of the odor but I tore the box when trying to open it. All the other Hefty black bags I have purchased NEVER had an odor. I really do not like the smell.

Good for garbage, but not sharp items. I wanted something as thick and tough as contractor bags but not 40 or 50 gallon. Thought these might do the trick. Was cleaning up debris from a home Reno and had to be careful that sharp items would not rip the bag, and could only fill them about half full because the materials we were bagging were very heavy. Wish the bags would have been a little sturdier, but our use was a little out of the ordinary. These are great for every day garbage. The price per unit was also phenomenal compared to any of the other stores and options.
