Both of my items were shipped without a box. The trash bag box was previously opened and taped closed. I have no idea if the right amount of bags are inside. Very disappointed.

I buy these all the time and really liked them but the past 2 boxes have been bad. they rip around the top when I pull to close them.I had a few do i before but it was few and far between but the last 2 boxes make me want to change to Sams brand. What happens is when I pull to close the strip rips out of the top. I use about 10 or more a week for garbage and have to cut back on what I put in them. They used to be able to hold alot but had to watch what I put in because of the tops ripping.

The worst garbage bags I have ever used. They are very thin and leak, well more like a pour as it poured out liquid into my garbage can and all the way out the door. The blue strip around the top that is supposed to be used to gather the top and carry the bag broke on every single bag. The "hem" that is supposed to hold the blue strap wasn't even closed on most the bags leaving it dangling. And to make matters worse, they are supposed to be "unscented", but they stink of plastic/chemicals. After fighting with the first roll and mopping up behind the leaky bags, I broke down and tossed the other roll. I would not recommend these bags to anyone.

These are the thinnest, weakest, worst garbage bags I have ever used. The ties just rip off, and the bag tears when trying to remove it from the can. I can't wait until these are gone and I can buy a quality garbage bag. So disappointed in Hefty brand right now... not living up to thier name at all!

BEWARE! These are "expandable" aka easy to rip through and tear. Now I have 90 bags that require double bagging of trash. 2 bags per can just to make it to the dumpster without tearing. Not a cost savings to me at all. My fault for not noticing when I ordered, hope to save someone else the aggravation.

I bought these bags once before and I didn't like them. I needed some trash bags and forgot that I didn't like these before. They are very thin and they are pressed together so you have to separate the bag in order to use it. The problem with that is, because they are thin, I keep putting a finger through the bag. If I can put a finger through the bag just trying to open it, I wouldn't call them "ultra strong". I gave it two stars because so far I've used more than I've ruined, but hopefully next time I will remember that I didn't like these.

I usually buy the Sam's kitchen bags but these were on sale so I thought I'd try them. I have standard kitchen pull-out garbage cans and the bags are too short and wide. The plastic also sticks to itself making opening the bag more difficult. I came here to buy some Sam's bags because I'm tired of reaching into the cans to pull these bags out of the trash every time i throw something away. If you have short, squat cans or aren't using them in a kitchen can, they'll work.

I bought these instead of the store brand because they were on instant savings $1 cheaper. Thinking them being name brand would help with their durability, but I was wrong. I've used three bags and every single one has ripped before even being full, and does not show any type of strength and durability. Will be returning. Very disappointing. Not "hefty hefty hefty" more "wimpy wimpy wimpy" (throwback to a commercials where ironically funny)

I've been a Sam's club member now for about 20 years and have always bought members mark brand trash bags and been very satisfied with the quality of the bags. These bags are used in a trash can in the garage for lawn garden debris so the ties are are of importance as well. On my last trip to Sam's, my normal choice bags were out of stock and had to buy the "on sale" Hefty brand . Then that's when my problems start, the blue ties on these bags break every single time!!!! And then the bags tear if too full. Boy, I regret this purchase and cannot wait till this box is used up. There will never ever be a Hefty trash bag in this house again.

First of all, let me say... these bags DO expand. They are stretchy and flexible. However, they tear more easily than I would have expected. I use them just for regular kitchen trash; not even for heavy duty purposes. They develop small holes at the pressure points. It's not enough to cause a catastrophic failure of the bag, but there will be holes. Is this a huge thing? Maybe not. If there are ants in the area.. maybe so. My point is that bag that's advertised as "heavy duty" should not develop a rip just from being poked by the corner of a Chinese food container.
