I bought these to help with some outdoor cleanup as advertised but all I got was a bigger mess than I started with. They are thin and keep ripping apart, I doubt they would work for normal trash can bags also they are suppose to be unscented but they are not, they have a very strong floral smell to them. Overall I wouldn't suggest these to anyone, for a brand like hefty to make such weak bags I am pretty disappointed.

I think shrinkflation took a hold of Hefty. Sam's Club was out of their Member's Mark trash bags so we got these instead. We thought "Well, they're Hefty. They've got to be better." Nope. Horrible. The Sam's brand is WAY better. Every single bag in our company tore. The plastic is almost see-thru now. The blue "handles" break almost immediately. We have to roll the can to the dumpster and just dump it in. We can no longer take the bag out of the can without shredding the bag. The Member's Mark ones, with the red drawstrings, are the best. They never break or tear. Completely disappointed in you, Hefty. What happened?

I love these strong large bags that don’t rip.

Disappointed that these bags tear easily. Every time I pull the bag out of the can it tears and my fingers poke through it. These bags seem really thin.

These garbage bags are anything but ultra strong, they rip so ridiculously easy that unless you're filling it with bubble wrap you can count on managing a mess. If you choose to use them I'd keep them less the 2/3 full and under about 8 lbs.

I DO NOT know how these trash bags got any 5 star ratings. I switched to Hefty because the Member Mark bags had gone down in quality. Well, these are not any better. They are so thin that no matter how little you put in them they rip if there is so much as a square shape to anything. No pressure or sharp edge is required. They rip. They leak. I was bagging up some excess cleaning products and I threw away a spray bottle of water that had less than a 1/4 cup of water in it. The bag was not full (only about 1/8 filled), not moved (I put everything in the bag without moving the bag), and when I went to pick it up to take it out to the trash can, there was a puddle on the floor. So, my question is, what are you meant to put in these bags? Air? That's about all they are good for and THAT would probably leak too.

If I could give a negative five stars I would. I bought a large box of Heavy Duty Hefty, 33 gal trash bags. The bottom of these bags gave way three times, and dumped trash on my kitchen floor. I now use two bags to avoid a disaster. I will never buy Hefty trash bags again!

Love the quality of this brand and the price is great too. This box lasted me several months the first time I bought it.

Every single one of these bags has ripped from having normal, every day, kitchen trash. It’s so frustrating to have stuff leak everywhere and then use a second bag. What a waste of money.

I DON’T RECOMMEND! THEYRE TRASH! I’m sure not many will see this since the top reviews are what most read. However I bought these “ultra strong” instead of the Members Mark Brand Trash bags because they were on sale for the same price so thinking “Name Brand is better” I bought the Hefty ones. They rip with EVERYTIME I get it out of our trash can (loading them the same as the members make and now less). They’ve even started ripping when I open them to put in my trash can.
