A must have in my home. They are sturdy, microwave safe, and won’t fold when hot foods of any type are placed on them. When you serve the family breakfast, lunch and dinner, you want to minimize the cleanup. No more scraping plates, cleaning, and putting dishes away unless you just feel the need to occasionally do formal dining.

I have purchased this product for many years. This year, I noted a significant change in the quality. In the past, I could rely on this strong plate to handle microwave heat without a problem. Now, the plate curls and deteriorates after a 1 minute in the microwave. Multiple plates in the package were torn at the edges. I believe hefty has changed the way they manufacture this plate and it has resulted in a substandard product. I am highly disappointed and now must find another plate to purchase.

I keep these Hefty disposable plates atop my microwave at all times. They are great for snacks, warming food, and quick meals. We use fewer china plates now, so I don't have to wash dishes as often. Larger Hefty plates would be nice, however this size fit most of our needs very well.

Thick plates. They don't bend easily. They're big enough for a dinner of regular sized portions. My husband thinks they're a bit small, but that's because he piles stuff on them. I've been using these for about a year now, and I haven't had one that's bent or broken. They don't melt as easily as the cheap ones, either. I can put a hot Pancake straight from the pan on them without them melting through. If you value not having to wash dishes over saving some money, by all means, this is the answer. If they aren't on sale, they're cheaper at Walmart.

I have purchased this product many times from Sam’s and this time it was defective. All of the plates were stamped out way off center, not just a little. It was something that you would maybe expect from a dollar store but not from a major name brand product like Hefty or from Sam’s.
