I’ve bought these hefty foam plates for years and never had a problem until a few years ago when I started noticing on each plate a lot of particles which look like little tiny pieces of the foam plate on top of every single plate…. it’s very scary because it made me wonder if I hadn’t noticed it before and how much of those tiny foam particles my kids and I have unknowingly consumed. When I do purchase these plates it’s annoying because I have to rinse off every single one and dry it before I use it so we don’t eat those tiny foam particles! Come Hefty, you can do better than that and you better hope it’s not going to cause health issues or cancer for people down the road. I have picture and video of a bag of these plates but I won’t post it unless someone asks to see it.

What happened?! We have been buying these same plates for YEARS! The last batch we bought is horrible! Completely flimsy, doesn't hold much at all anymore...They are so lightweight now they buckle and end up folding in the middle. Doesn't hold half of much as it used too. The price went up recently and looks like the quality went way down.

I have bought many brands and this one is my favorite. Well it was till recently. The reason I paid more to biy these instead of different brands is because they where always heavy duty type playes. They didn't bend when there was food on it and tou could heat stuff in the microwave on them without them melting. The last 3 packages I purchased seem to be made different. They curl up and or melt when I heat something up or put something a little hot in them. They never use to do that.

I have to agree with the last customer review now these plates are flimsy and really thin and unusable the reason I used to renew every year was because I used to love the quality of these plates.. but now I don’t know. Please bring back the old version.

The plates themselves are good - no qualms there. However, there were lots of small pieces of styrofoam in between the plates, so we had to shake each plate out over the trash can before using them. If you weren't careful, you might end up eating some styrofoam.

I bought these plates and just got around to using them and they are all like melted in spots and look kinda brown. Never happened before so I am confused . Guess I can't wait send them back cause it's been over a month since I bought them but I am a little upset that I wasted money on something that is mostly melted plates. Would love to add pics.

I always bought Hefty brand plates. Then they were strong and sturdy. Now they melt in the microwave just heating leftovers. Why the change and still raise the price. I'm disappointed now I'm searching for another brand . Hope theres something out there worth buying!

These plates USED to be great! What happened? Now the plates are all off centered, have a lot of foam debris. We have to be wiping each one of them before using them just to clear out all the foam off of them. There are some that are too shredded for use. Don't have the time to return them. It's the second package that comes out in this poor condition. We order curbside, so we don't really see what we get u til we get home. Truly disappointed

I have been buying these for years. Same size, brand, etc. I don’t know what’s going on with them. Last 3 packs I have bought I have thrown away over half the package. There are pieces of the plastic that are loose around edging of plate. It comes off in your food. Then if you pull it off, the plate keeps fraying those little pieces. One batch had what I called “half plates,” they had a folded type crease thru them and part of plate had no rim. So we’re unusable as well. I purchased again, as I have been buying fir years. Thought it may have just been a bad batch. This has happened 3 times. I really want to buy them again, as I am out, however, I have them shipped usually and $17 for plates you have to throw away is not something I can afford right now. I am so disappointed. I have already waisted $50, thinking it was a bad batch. I can’t afford to waist anymore.

I received these and they were all not in the right form. Crooked I reached out to Hefty because Sam's told me that is who I needed to contact. I never got a response what a waste. No one would honor them. So I used what I could for non guest. I have pictures but won't let me share. Just examine them when purchasing. I will always moving forward.
