Hefty supreme plates used to have good quality but now it looks like the quality of the plates is getting lower. There are some plates with crushed parts, some with unequal sides and some with thinner part

These plates do hold up well even when going after seconds. The only thing I noticed is the plates edges, around the rim, seem less finished. I don't think it affects the durability, just gives it a lower quality look.

I gave these to kids to use as frisbees at Christmas. They loved them. I gave some to my neighbor Ralphie. He used them as targets for his Red Ryder, carbine action, 200-shot, range model air rifle. I’m glad he didn’t shoot his eye out. These work great!!

We assumed these were paper plates, but they’re kind of a foam/plastic construction. Notice the type of material is not indicated on the packaging (at least, not that you can tell on the website). Okay, unless you planned to use them in the microwave (which we did).

The quality of the Hefty Paper Plates has drastically changed. They have become somewhat flimsy and not as sturdy and strong. I’m not sure if it is just this individual package that I recently purchased or the quality itself has changed. This has not been my experiences with this product in the past, but time things were much different.

The quantity OUTWEIGHS THE QUALITY! Noticed this for a while when purchasing the plates. The plates seems as though they are overruns and they are not of quality as they were before. QUALITY CONTROL IS NOT CHECKING THE PRODUCTS, ONLY LETTING THEM THROUGH THE DOOR FOR A FAST BUCK! It’s amazing what Sam’s company will allow and maybe they don’t know until the consumer brings it to their attention! The plates at this point, should be either lower in price, or SOLD TO AN OUTLET/SECOND HAND VENDOR COMPANY, [Big Lots, Ollies, etc…]

I have purchased these plates for as long as I remember, the quality has really declined, there are little pin holes in the plates, then there are plates that weren’t punched out correctly and are super thin on one edge and normal on the opposite side.

I started buying this size of Styrofoam plates when Sam's quit stocking the Hefty 6.875 inch Styrofoam plates although they're not really the size I wanted. However, my family has gotten used to using them for mid-sized meals and like them, so I continue buying them.

I always use these plates but this time when I went to use them there was loose cellophane between (and attached) to the plates. I had to peel off this layer to use the plates. I was concerned that this loose cellophane would detach and become mixed with the food on the plate causing a choking hazard. This only happened once in all the times I have purchased these plates, so it won’t stop me from purchasing them again in the future.

I have been buying Hefty Supreme plates from Sam's for years. They are so strong. Sometimes when I run out I would grab a pack of Hefty plates from the grocery store and was always disappointed because they were not as strong as the supremes I would get at Sam's. I would highly recommend these plates.
