[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have putt his stuff down in my yard in 2 small area to see if there's a difference. And at first I though no, but now after a good rain I am seeing the difference in those areas. Greener fuller and more growth over all. I will continue to use this as instructed to see how much more improvement we can get. My yard just grow ugly brown stuff normally and idk why but this does seem to help and I'm suepr excited to watch the progress .

I don't know how anybody could give this product any less than the 5 star in which it deserves! It absolutely works as advertised. The only reason I would see anybody giving it any lower a rating would be because of it staining their concrete...and if a person read everything thoroughly, they'd only have themself to blame because the bag specifically says to blow or sweep off any excess on sidewalks, driveways, etc. that are made of concrete because the iron in it will stain. I've used this stuff several times a year for years and it is HANDS DOWN the best there is for greening up my St Augustine and making it grow at a fast pace! (PERIOD/DOT) :)

Used the product as it said on the package. Used common sense. I used a blower to blow off granules that could not be easily reached with a broom. The biggest thing with any product and all these negative reviews. READ THE LABEL. USE COMMON SENSE. Makes life a whole lot easier. My lawn was way greener than it has ever been. The people that were complaining about brown patches those were probably weeds. I noticed most of the clover had died and some imature crab grass. Great product will recommend. As you can see in the picture below. My lawn used to look like my neighbors

Wonderful product. I don't understand the staining problem so often mentioned in these reviews. Follow the directions, pay attention to where you're dropping the fertilizer (I use a Scotts drop spreader), try to apply when it will be dry for at least a day after application, water after a day or two and 3 to 5 days after application you will be happy with the results. Product is very easy to use, but does require minimal awareness from the user. Highly recommended.

Never have I been so very disappointed in a product made by Scott's as I am with Scott's Green Max. We just had new concrete sidewalks installed 3 weeks ago. I apply this product just before it rained and i did not get a chance to sweep in time before the rain started. Our new concrete now has orange streaks down the entire length of the sidewalk. This is unbelievable!!! I will never never use a Scotts product again. The warning label on the back should have been much larger or maybe placed on the front it large letters. I had to purchase 2 gallons of Mercuric acid to remove the stains (a full day of work) its looks much better but not the way it looked 3 weeks ago. This product should be removed from the shelves!!!!! Scotts i'm done with you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lawn food is easy to use. I just put it in my spreader and applied it to my lawn. I hope to see results very soon. The directions were easy to follow. I like the bag it came in. It was easy to pour into the spreader.

Whaddaya do with Bermuda grass? A year after moving to NC from MA where I had one of the nicer, greener and weed free lawns in my neighborhood, my new yard is starting to get green after a single application of GreenMax. The lawn care company hasn't been able to accomplish in a year of liquid weed and feed what Scott was able to do in one application. Now I'll start with Weed-B-Gone to solve the other issues. I've always found Scott products to be more expensive than most other brands but with their products you really do get what you pay for.

This product worked as described. Nice, green lawn. BEWARE>>>The product readily states clean up any that gets on concrete. I thought that I had cleaned it well. The next day we had a slight drizzle and I then had numerous rust streaks on my sidewalk. On my patio some had gotten into the expansion groove that I did not see and this also was rust color. I am in the process of repeated cleanings . While it works, I will not be using any material that contains iron in the future
