[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used Scott's Max on my lawn and really enhanced the color of my lawn! My lawn was dull in color and I was skeptical but after applying and following directions I was pleasantly surprised to see the difference that it made.

It makes the lawn look like I had professionals come in every week. I may be making some neighbors envious of my lawn who have theirs done by professionals.

This product is terrible. Even when you think you have removed all the product off your sidewalk the run off stains your sidewalk and concrete. I have used Trugreen for years and tried this product once and I will never use it again. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT IT WILL RUIN YOUR CONCRETE EVEN IF YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used it on my yard last sunday and it was watered in good and I applies it like the instructions. My yard looks no different than my neighbors who do nothing and their yard is light green. Also now I have the seed heads popping up everywhere and it looks awful. I love scotts products but not this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I start to apply this to my lawn right before spring and always end up with a more beautiful green yard. It helps keep my yard one uniform green color. We have dogs and end up with grass that doesn't look very nice unless we fertilizer, hands down this leaves my lawn looking the best. Very impressed with our experience and the compliments we get. I do use a spreader for a more uniform coverage also.

It seems that everything we use that's Scotts is absolutely the best! We used to try other brands but have always decided that Scotts is our favorite - this REALLY does work beautifully!

I also encountered staining the first time I used this product last year. A container of Super Iron Out cleaned up the rust stains (mix solution; spray to saturate; agitate with brush; power wash off residue). The product label suggests sweeping away the granules which will not work. I used my leaf blower on low setting to move the granules into the lawn AND followed up with a spray from my garden hose to catch any loose granules, again spraying in a sweeping motion to move the granules into the lawn. I then hand-watered the entire lawn with a light spray. Perfect! No staining this time and the lawn looks fabulously green. Don't be dissuaded by the negative reviews about using this product. The label clearly and distinctly (red letters on a yellow background) states the staining issue. Pay attention, put a little effort into the process, and make yourself proud (and your neighbors jealous) of your lawn.
