It was the most easiest to do that I did it myself without the help of husband. The granulas spread perfectly and after the immediate first watering it was as if a thirsty limp plant got a taste of water. This is an assist to my home and the look of total freshness.

It makes my lawn nice and green so i'm the envy of the neighborhood (or at least I think I am)! Lol! Seriously though, my lawn always looks great and so green. It has to do with all the iron in their fertilizer formula that makes it work so great! I would highly recommend!

I applied the lawn food to the dried areas and in exactly 3 days my lawn was the same shade! It's very easy to apply the food with a manual spreader. It only took 15 minutes to cover the area. Now that my lawn is uniform I will do one more application on the whole lawn to make sure all areas are covered.

I promise you, this fertilizer works better than, or as good as, any product a lawn care company throws out. In fact, it would not surprise me, at all, if some of those companies use this. They just charge you for the time to spread it while you rave about how great the company did at making your yard so green and pretty. So, take control of your own yard's destiny without the up charge! Maybe hire yourself out the neighborhood in the process. Because your neighbors will ask what you used or who you pay to get your yard so green.

I've been using this product for a year and have been impressed by the results. My grass is far greener than any house in my neighborhood. It really stands out. Sadly, there's a significant drawback to this product and that is the damage it causes to sidewalks and fencing. After reading other reviews with states the affect this product has in sidewalks, I made sure I swept any excess debri from concrete areas (I.e. sidewalk and driveway) due to browning and rusting of the areas it comes in contact with when water is present. However, what I unfortunately discovered on my own is that this product will cause your wrought iron fence or other products of this material to rust, crack, and deteriorate. So, unfortunately for me, my house has these fences around the perimeter. While my neighbors fences are holding up strongly, I wondered why my fences were starting to fall apart. And it's because of this product. So, beware of its DAMAGE TO WROUGHT IRON FENCING. As a result, I'm now faced with an extremely expensive repair. Otherwise, use this on your lawn.

While you have to be careful to keep the fertilizer on the lawn this product has produced the best results in my 45+ years of using fertilizers on my grass. Never had so many positive comments!

I live in an area with high calcium in the soil. The calcium in turn makes soil iron unavailable to the grass and causes it to be yellow in many areas. The 5.75 % iron in this product counteracts this soil problem and brings the grass back to a healthy green.

I use Scotts fertilizer year round, but usually don't in the late summer. This year, my lawn started to look just a little brown and appears stressed from the heat and drought conditions. I upped my watering a little and spread a light amount of Green Max. In about 3 days my lawn started to look significantly better and by 6 days, it was greener that ever and lush. Scotts is the best. I won't use anything else in my lawn.
