More sweet them spicy. Slightly more on the vinegar side.

I pour this on everything. Especially my tongue, it is so tasty in my mouth, I drink it as well and pour it in my eyes for pleasure.

Delicious but not spicy enough. Crystals hotsauce spicier than this one, and that was shocking because its supposed to be a mexican hotsauce.

This is one of the standard hot sauces in mexico. And it is very versatile. It's probably not the very best but if you have this in your house people from Mexico are going to accept it. And enjoy it.

Flavorful and spicy without garlic aftertaste. I use it in soups, on veggies - pretty much anything that seems too bland to me. I've been buying it for 15 years.

Best hot sauce ever

It's basically Tabasco!

I once spent time in California, and there was a large bottle of this on the table at the dining area. I found myself using alot of it on the stuff we got from the kitchen. I became fond of it. I like the consistency, it's not watery. But after years of consideration , I find it to be vinegary and common of the commercial Hot sauces. Vinegar and salt are the preservatives necessary in these sauces, but in real life they dominate the flavor. It seems like one drop of vinegar takes over the whole thing.

I would not recommend Valentina Salsa Picante Mexican Hot Sauce to anyone. I bought a bottle recently and was very disappointed with the flavor. It was extremely salty and had a strange aftertaste. I tried adding it to a variety of dishes, but it never tasted good. In addition to the bad flavor, I also found the hot sauce to be very watery. It didn't have the thick, rich consistency of other hot sauces I've tried. This made it difficult to use and made the flavor even more disappointing.

I tried this because someone said it tastes like Cholula. It doesn't.
