try this!

A major factor is the price point, so if I get a good 6 months to a year without it breaking I'll think it's worth it. not a super heavy duty piece of equipment and I'm not sure it really holds up to 220lbs but I put it together myself in a little over an hour (I'm not good at those things, I have to read every single step on the manual) but once I was done I tried it with just one resistance band clipped and holy cow it's a workout. so like I said based on the price, ease of putting it together and it actually giving me a decent workout plus free shipping? great but! next one considered was the sunny health model however do your comparison, it's basically the same model different brands. try it!

Sitting while exercising - Yay!!

It has a slim design and doesn't take up a whole lot of room. I had my son put it together so can't say if it was an easy assembly or not but he said it was pretty straight forward even though there were no written directions, only images. Another thing I like about this machine is it allows me to stretch my back if I don't want to perform the squat exercises. I am 55 and do a lot of yard work that causes some lower back pain and it's a great back stretcher - I place my feet on the pedals and hold onto the lower portion of the handlebars and just allow my back to release. There are folding squat machines out there but they are more expensive. I have a very small house and keep this machine in the living room so I don't "forget" to exercise but can still store in my closet - I remove the handlebars first since my closet is narrow. Very happy with my purchase.

Inferior to the Sunny Upright Row-N-Ride Exericser

I bought this item and the Sunny Upright Row-N-Ride from Amazon at the same time. Both are listed at the same price, but the Sunny machine is far superior to the Marcy product. They are nearly identical in appearance and function, but the Sunny machine is better engineered. It was easier to assemble and works better. The Marcy machine took me over an hour to assemble; the Sunny machine less than ten minutes. The Marcy machine seems to low to the ground; thus, the workout is not as satisfying.

Works upper and lower body at the same time!

I love this machine. Pretty easy for me to put together, about 45 minutes. I was definitely sweating after using for the 1st 5 minutes. My thighs and butt are sore today! I used a machine similar to this (they're out of business now) years ago and lost 100 lbs and this works the exact same way. I can definitely feel the burn in arms, shoulders, upper back, thighs and butt when exercising. I am going to work up to 30 minutes but for now 15 is all I can do. My legs feel like jelly after 15 min! I would definitely recommend!!
