my husband is a construction engineer and jack of all trades. still had trouble understanding 1's and 2's with the directions. especially since it is oval - makes a difference. once up, has been great. even 300+ lbs. friends jumping on it, no problem.

This is a quality trampoline and is definitely worth the money. Putting this thing together, on the other hand is another story. Long story short, the wife and I nearly got a divorce because the lack of clarity of the instructions. Since this is an oval trampoline the correct pieces were very difficult to identify what order to go in. Once together this trampoline is awesome!

Great size for my 3 boys; my 6'3" son isn't afraid of bouncing off if he tries a flip. We had a round one before, but really like having a long side now. Easy to put together, if you have a power screwdriver and two adults. I did it with my 17 yr old son (and my 9 yr old "helping"). I suggest you wear work gloves, as the pipes come with a greasy coating to protect them. You'll also want gloves when installing the springs. We didn't install the enclosure, and had no problems in that respect. Of course, the manufacturer doesn't reccomend that. Follow the instructions when installing the springs & you won't have to strain so much hooking them up. We starting going in two directions and couldn't pull it together. We went back and followed the directions and it was fine. Still, not for a weak muscled person. We also got the accessory kit.

The trampoline is of good quality heavy metal construction. The trampoline has great bounce and very heavy duty net. I bought this trampoline looking for safety and large enough length wise for doing tricks. The springs are out the outside of the net, so everything inside is safely away from the springs. The mat itself, stays very cool and water doesn't seem to stand at all, which I was highly impressed with compared to the rubber ones at my daughters gymnastics. The price is good compared to US made versions of this trampoline. So expect to have problems with the instructions, being they came from China.

When a 14'-15' may not work for bigger kids and spending double or triple can't (or won't) happen, this 15' x 17' oval trampoline works. Good bounce and plenty of room for manuvers. Purchased online with free and fast delivery. Setup time to bounce time was 2 hours and most of that is trying to figure out the typically poor instruction manual. My biggest suggestion to the manufacturer would be to mark the trampoline and frame with reference points to more easily identify matching points for the oval mat to the oval frame. We bought this as it was not only larger, but it offered better options in re-locating weekly it around our backyard in order to keep the grass alive. Check back with me next year to see how well that plan worked....

I, and my (almost) 13 year old daughter put this monster up in 2 hours flat. Instructions just need to be read completely before you start so you don't have to do little things twice. Well designed and seems to be well built. We went from a 13' round to this and her and her friends wouldn't get off of it. "This thing is HUGE! You don't know how happy I am right now" was her first comment. A great purchase! Price is well worth it, shipped in two boxes right to your door, all parts were there and wasn't hard to put together. Happy customer!

I think the product meet expectations. The quality in relation to value and cost is very good. Delivery was done as promised but with no fault from Sam's club the delivery company don't do deliveries on Saturday or Sundays so make sure you allow extra time. Ensemble of the product was easy an was put to good use same day.

We assembled our 15' X 17' trampoline. It wasn't bad at all. I had already read somewhere else that reading the instructions was very important. I definitely agree. Because it is OVAL, you have to make sure that the oval frame is at the same angle as the oval mat and the oval spring protector. My hubby put together the frame by himself. The metal is covered with some protective black slimey stuff so you definitely want to wear gloves that you're willing to throw away. I showed up to help after the frame was put together and in the correct position. We laid out the mat and installed the 96 springs. I thought that they'd be difficult, but if you use the tool or follow the suggestion of pulling with an extra spring, they were quite easy. I'm not a big woman and I could do it! Our 9 year old loves it. She's an only child, so I thought she'd be a little bored. But I bought a few beach balls to keep in there and she's loving it. Definitely buy the accessory kit with the ladder and the tie-downs. I don't know how you're supposed to get into it without the ladder.

My kids love this trampoline. It has plenty of room for tumbling and multiple kids playing at the same time. However, the instructions that came with it are worthless. The instructions refer to the round, not the oval, trampoline. The alignment on this one is critical. The online instructions are also flawed. Two very simple instructions would clear up all of the confusion: (1) The perimeter frame is marked with key #1 and key #2 on the curved framing members. The pattern is 1-1-1, then 2-2-2, repeated twice as there are 6 pieces to form the oval. (2) The net enclosure opening should be lined up with the center of the middle #2 framing member to properly align the trampoline mat to the frame. Let's face it, most of don't want to spend or cannot afford to spend upwards of $1000 on a trampoline. My kids are 11 and 13, they won't be using this trampoline for more than a few years which makes it perfect for our family. If I had much younger kids, I think I would invest in the expensive springless kind of trampoline. That being said, this trampoline is a great compromise. It was fairly easy to put together, it took my husband and I (and the help of 3 13 year olds and an 11 year old to hold the frame) about 3 hours. And that was with maybe an hour of help from me. The worst part was figuring out which was the long end of the oval to fit into the long end of the frame. It's like trying to figure out the fitted bedsheets with the elastic all the way around. We tried at least 5 configurations and had to hook about 1/3 of the springs to see if we had it lined up correctly. My advice is to get a measuring tape and measure the frame (easy) and the trampoline itself (not so easy when it is not stretched out) and hook every 5th or 6th spring around) and you will be able to tell pretty quickly if you have the oval correctly aligned with the frame. Just keep rotating until it looks right. We have had the trampoline up for about a month and the kids are still enjoying it. It is holding up well. I would recommend the stakes which I am going to order since we are on a bit of a hill and the wind can really catch things in our back yard.
