I have had the same experience with these tires as Dandy Dan. The letters turn brown, and there is nothing that I can do to clean them back to white; not even the best whitewall cleaner on the market will work. I have put these tires on three classic cars (which are driven sparingly), and the same result on each. Good tires otherwise, but I bought them for the raised white letters which are hard to come by these days.

This is a great tire in this size folks, the best BFG radial IMHO is this size BFG the p295/50R15. I use it on a 15x10 wheel on the rear of my 1981 camaro. Being this size, it offers better ride and handling and wears good in every day driving. In this car its good to get the most tire in the rear you can stuff in it. This size is even better in the rear of the lighter weight vehicles as the wear character is slightly better on a 2800 lb car like a cobra kit car or 1973 comet for example. And I cant find anything wrong with this size radial, except I only use a slick at the track anyway, this is a great tire yall they should never get rid of it ever or change it Ive been buying since I was 16 and is the only size radial I buy for the rear of a car. outy.

The whitebands on the tyre keep their look well. The tyres are dependable in terms of grip, and I expect to get reliable use from them for the full 8 years before they become over-aged. I look forward to replacing them with another set of BFG whitebands.

I have bought Radial T/A on both classic cars I won (1969 GTO and 1969 Grand Prix) and both sets are turning yellow...I clean them and 48 hrs later, back to yellowing..They range from 2-3 years old with very limited mileage, as I only drive them in Summer...What can you do to solve this issue? Have run 255/70/15s for years with stock suspension in my '93 Silverado; always felt like it looked like a little old lady going through a mud puddle with her skirt pulled up. Installed a Belltech 2" lowering kit. Now it sits where the factory should have put 'em in the first place...would love some T/As in maybe 265X75s to fit the factory 15" alloy wheels to fill the rear fender wells better, and a little more "attitude". Closest thing is the Long Trail Tour T/A. May have to opt for them...don't like the off-road connotation; turn the white lettering inside. Great tires, T/As. Just the ticket for real Detroit Iron.

I purchased tires for a modified s10 pickup looking for better grip after the modifications. At first these tires were very quiet and very grippy. Then came the noise at moderate speed. These tires really hum a tone at 50 mph to 70 mph. The grip has never faltered but I will be looking for QUIETER tires to replace them with when the time comes. They are just too noisy

These are about the only tires I can put on my muscle car with 15" wheels and I have beat the snot out of them and they just keep going. They don't leak any air either! I've had nails come and go, chunks missing from both tread and sidewalk (my fault). I swear by these things!

I've been a B.F. Goodrich tire fan, and customer since 1979. These P235/60R15's were just the right size and looks I was wanting to pair with a set of custom wheels. This set of tires replaced my previous B.F.'s that were 13 years old, and still had some tread on them. The Radial T/A is also a favorite at car show events. People love the raised white letters! I'm lucky I have 15" rims, since the RWL's are not available on larger rim sizes. 5 Stars!

B.F. Goodrich Radial T/As are the best tires I have ever used. I run them on a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass "S" which originally came with G78-14 bias-ply tires. The T/As have delivered exceptional performance especially in the handling department. I'm a member of the Oldsmobile Club of America and it's amazing how many fellow owners of classic Oldsmobiles rely on Radial T/A's for looks, safety and performance.

Since the purchase of the tires they have been on the road somewhere in the neighborhood of 250 miles. The white lettering is brown. Every time I scrub them they look a little better but the browning returns quickly. Since they are on a classic vehicle we would like them to look as they should.
