I didn't use these right away after I purchased them but once I opened the package, I washed them before using. I did all my meal prep, loaded them with meals and when I went to put the lids on, they didn't fit. I thought maybe one or two were slightly off, but only one or two actually fit! I had to put the lid on and wrap each dish with plastic wrap before freezing my meals so the lids wouldn't fall off and ruin my food. We ended up having to throw them all away! What a waste of money!

I wish I'd read the reviews before I purchased this product. The Lids DO NOT fit but didn't find this out until I was packing meals for my daughters honeymoon and return home - it was leftovers from her wedding reception so nothing I could do at that point but tape the lids shut and wrap in plastic wrap. Terrible! Don't bother purchasing - not the quality they used to be.

None of the lids would fit. Trying to send left over Thanksgiving dinner home with family and these wouldn't work. At first we thought only 1 was defective, but no one could get any of them to close securely. A complete waste of money - threw them in the garbage.

I was super excited to try these because I already own the 28oz Hefty containers and they are fantastic. The lids fit perfectly and I use them all the time. I bought the 38oz size specifically so I could pack two days' worth of leftovers or make a full salad. Unfortunately, the lids on the 38oz containers do not fit properly at all. You can usually snap down three corners, but the fourth corner will not seal—no matter which lid or container you try. We tested all the lids with all the containers thinking maybe it was a one-off defect, but none of them work correctly. Even worse, if you press down in the middle of the lid to try to get that last corner to seal, the lid just cracks. Now I'm stuck with 25 containers that essentially don't have functioning lids, and I can't return them. I'm extremely disappointed, especially since the smaller size works so well. I expected the same quality and usability, but these are basically unusable for transporting food. I would not recommend the 38oz version unless this issue is fixed.

I purchased four packages at two different times. None of the packages contained lids that fit the storage containers! I made the containers work by purchasing rubber bands from the dollar store and using the rubber bands in a criss-cross pattern to make the lids stay on the containers. This solution was the only way I could put my four packages of containers to good use. Who and where is the quality control manager for Hefty/Reynolds?

Brand new and None of the Lids fit - product not like the others I've ordered before! I already opened and threw away the wrapping - I used to love these to send food home with people but no more. These are different sizes and no hefty on the lid like before. I bought mine when on sale.

I've bought these 3 times hoping it was a fluke but it's not. The lids do not fit properly and the contents will leak or completely spill out. The lids are too big and will only close on 2 to 3 sides, never all four. I will stick to the smaller sized ones. Never an issue.

Purchased these because we needed them to meal prep. Had a flooding in my home so we were meal prepping at my family's home. Little did we know that the lids were not going to fit! We have an hour drive home, so we had to stack them in boxes and hope they didn't leak all over my car. It made a mess. I'm truly disappointed in this product. I can't wrap my head around how Sam's continues to sell them given all the bad reviews these have.

These are HORRIBLE! The lids do not fit at all. If you have arthritis like me, you will think you are having a bad day with your hands. Turns out no one can snap them shut without drama. I have always used the 28 oz Hefty containers and they ARE great so I thought why not. :)
