I recently bought the original scent after my daughter said she used Tide pods and her clothes smelled nice. I used Tide original many years ago and remember it had a pleasant scent. Well, this smells like wet towels left in a pile for days. I even used a cleaning tablet in my almost new top loader but when I used Tide, the smell came back. It's not moisture, it's this “original” scent. Why?

I do try other brands and then end up coming back to good old Tide. It just works. I will say, I wish they hadn't changed the bottle top. Not as fond of the thinner cap that seems to be a bit messier on the edges with the detergent sticking to it.

It removes the stains, smells, and dirt from our clothing without damaging the fabrics. The sheets and towels always keep their colors . Easy to use with the measuring cap and can adjust the amount of detergent for the load size. Tide is a three generation laundry detergent for our family because it is so dependable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It worked well and my towels smelled and looked very clean. It has a basic laundry type scent I would say. A “clean” smell. I had a pretty bulky load and used the measuring cup on the lid. I used 4 on the cup. That was perfect.

I do a load to 3 loads of laundry a day and its lasted me over 2 months. My clothes come out clean and my whites come out white after using it. This is a great product.

My clothes look refreshed and revived after using it while doing my laundry. The smell just reminds me of cleanliness and is just perfect for me. While I do wish they could changed the product design a bit the formula for the detergent I wouldn't change one bit.
