I would like to know how you can change the scent of your "original" detergent, your flagship scent and still call it original scent without any type of label change to the bottle. The new scent in the Tide original bottle is absolutely horrid. You had a great thing going with the "original" scent why mess with it? Seriously debating switching from Tide. You need to get that new stuff off store shelves and bring back the original scent, in order to keep customers.

My laundry looked, felt ,and smelled great. You can find this anywhere and it is not to pricey either. Very easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide detergent has always been one of my favorite laundry soaps. I appreciate how fresh my family's clothes smell and how soft it keeps my fabrics. My skin does not get irritated when we use Tide which is great, as I have sensitive skin. The fact that I can use Tide in my HE washing machine and not have to use a special detergent is awesome! Tide continues to be one of the top detergent brands in my eyes!

I used Tide detergent exclusively for decades. I was pleased with how well it cleaned and the pleasing scent. The new “original” scent is a dealbreaker. It is way too strong and not pleasing to smell. It is ridiculous label this scent as original. I would not have purchased it if I realized I had changed it. Here's an idea: leave the original as the actual original. Make other, new scents and label them as something else. Let supply and demand determine whether you continue to make this new awful scent. It is a shame to run off lifetime customers.

It smells great and our clothes smell good for an extended period of time. I also really like how well it works at getting dirt, grease, and grime out of our clothes.

I have used Tide Original for years. First the powder and the the liquid. it used to be the scent was unremarkable. This meant that in the winter clothing or sheets didn't stand out for their good or bad scent. But when the season's changed I looked forward to being able to hang my laundry out in the fresh air. It always smelled so good.... so fresh. Now, the detergent scent is so strong that my laundry no longer smells good when hung out to dry. My bra has the overwhelming chemical smell for days...... it is stronger than the perfume I wear. It used to be that there was nothing better than the smell of your bed sheets freshly off the line when you went to bed. Now, I can't sleep for the extreme strong chemical smell that even our fresh air can't overcome. I no longer want to slip between the sheets and curl my nose into my pillow.......It stinks! Hard to sleep holding your nose!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide Original Liquid Detergent is the best laundry product I have ever used. Our clothes are clean and stains and odor are gone. In fact, I don't use a separate stain remover product for what might be a stubborn stain. I just rub a little bit of Tide on the stain while I'm sorting the rest of the laundry. Then, into the washer it goes with the rest of the load. Everything comes out so clean, and all in cold water. I would definitely recommend Tide Original Liquid Detergent if you want clean, fresh smelling laundry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of my life, I have purchased the cheapest brand detergents. Until recently, I tried Tide. WOW! What a product. Worth every penny. The scent alone is rich and fresh. And the smell stays with clothes days after the wash. Cleaning power is amazing as well. In the long run, it's not much more expensive than the cheap brand I was buying---if you factor that you use a lot less of this product (1 bar on the cap), saves you time in re-washing or manual scrubbing, and the fact that this will make your clothes last longer.
