The original is not the original. We buy in bulk, and only recently found out that the original is now a putrid smelling waste of my money. Even our kids won't wear clothes washed in this stuff it smells horrible, even at half the recommended amount. Good luck finding the mountain spring scent, which they say is what the re-labled what had been original since 1984. Lost a family with 6 kids thanks to your perceived need to change what was working for millions of people.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide original laundry detergent has been my go to for washing my clothes .Tide really gets the smell out of the dirty clothes and gets the stubborn stains out with out fading or messing up the clothes, I love that I can pretreat a stain by just putting some tide on it and letting it sit for a bit before I throw it in the washer .Tide doesn't break my sons skin out . And when I take the clean clothes out of the washer they smell so fresh but the smell is not overwhelming , tide has been around for along time so you know it's great

It has a nice classic scent that stays even after the clothes is dry which is great. It leaves laundry well-cleaned, fresh, and smelling great. Simply put, it's the best detergent out there for tough stains and odors. A house brand that my family has trusted in since i can recall and it works on all fabrics,in hot or cold water. The cap works as a measurer and under the handle, there is a transparent line of the container that shows the amount, that remains inside. Something I dislike about this product, is that the container is heavy for me so I believe the detergent in pod form works better personally.

I hate that some other brands of HE detergent do not seem to sud enough, but this one doesn't have that problem. It cleans my clothes well without needing any extra stain treatment for my kids socks and everyday stains and I love the smell!
