My mother never used a name brand detergent and as a child I remember thinking how good other peoples clothes smelled and how could I smell that good. I began using Tide when I moved out of my moms house because of the smell alone. I never knew I could love a detergent so much. :) But now that I am older I use Tide products not only for the smell but because I now have three boys of my own and I want them to feel good about their clothes. Tide takes out stains, keeps their clothes looking brand new ( and for boys that is a hard task ) and of course keeps them smelling fresh and clean all day. It works great on all fabrics in my household, and I use it also to pretreat grass or grease stains. The Original Tide has the classic scent of Tide which I love. The cap has markings to help you measure how much to use which is very handy. I appreciate that it helps launder just about any type of fabric and gets the stains out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide is the classic detergent. It gets my clothes clean every time. Never had any issues with color bleeding. It always gets tough stains... I spill coffee on myself all the time, but it also gets dirt stains.

My husband and I sent our at the time 2 month old son to his grandparents house one night so we could have a break from the baby. The next day when the grandparent's brought baby home they told us they had done his laundry. After they left I got into the diaper bag to put his clothes away to find that the laundry my husband's mom had washed smelled AMAZING! We asked her what she used and she told us Tide and Downy. My (now) 4 1/2 month old loves it (always has) and I swear he sleeps better with his clothes washed in Tide! Sounds crazy, I know! We'll never use anything but Tide again!

I will definitely recommend this to everyone that I know. I will definitely be buying this from now on. It is not as watery as some as the other laundry detergent.

Tide is the only brand that actually gets out most stains with no work on my part, and gets the clothes clean and smelling good. Love the product, you need very little to get a good amount of suds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Tide detergent and used it right away on the 5 loads that I had. One of the pants was covered in mud stains that I hadn't noticed right away. I washed in cold water and was surprised they came out like new. My favorite part of theh whole experience is the cup that measures the detergent. Usually you have to wipe the cap out or sometimes throw it in with the wash (which can fray the clothes). This cap is designed to fit over the opening and any spare detergent runs back into the bottle. No waste. Definitely my favorite part along with being able to wash the clothes in cold water and save on the electricity bill!

One or two of my children have somewhat sensitive skin, and have had no issues or irritations with this product. y children are very active, and spend alot of time outdoors and playing sports. Tide has always been the #1 product we use when scrubbing and cleaning those mud, dirt, and grass stains from their uniforms. It always seems to work wonders! A little bit of Tide rubbed into the stained area, and your good as new. After using this product, our clothes always feel very clean and with a very nice / fresh scent. In addition, I feel a little bit of Tide sometimes is all you need to brighten those colors and remove those stains. My family and I highly recommend this product, and we will be definitely stocking up before the next sport season swings along.
