I do about 6 loads a week or more with work clothes and pet blankets along with towels and bedding and everyday clothes. Stains come right out even on cold water setting. The scent is a clean fresh scent that lasts until next washing day.

Cleaning power wise, it rates with the top brands. The selling point to me, and especially my spouse, is that it has the absolute freshest smell. No other detergent smells so fresh and clean.

Well, I'm glad I gave it a go because my wife says it cleans our clothes much better than anything we've had. Which when you have kids, is especially important so their clothes don't ruin as fast. I've also noticed our clothes have a nicer smell when all clean that they didn't previously. It's a light, clean scent.

After being disappointed in the April Fresh Downy + Tide HE scent change, I went back to the original scent - the one signature smell that keeps Tide's brand recognition and customer loyalty. The new scent is not worth the price tag and I expect people to make the brand switchover unless they reinstate the Tide smell we grew up loving. The new odor is perfume like and unfamiliar, which is a no no in today's economy. Please listen to your customer's and switch back. Many thanks.

I love that it has a measuring cup so I don't overfill and have bubbles going everywhere. Plus it was shipped nicely and nothing spilled out. Tide has always been great with their products and this one in particular is one of the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Tide Original Liquid Detergent in two different washes. The first wash was whites (sheets, underwear etc). I washed with hot water and rinsed with cold. The wash load seemed cleaner brighter, whiter and smelled good (clean). The second load of wash was mixed colors--mostly dark. I washed this load in cold and rinsed with cold. Again the wash seemed cleaner, brighter, and smelled clean.

This size of laundry detergent lasts a while for me and I have a family of 5 so clothes get washed constantly in my home. I have sensitive skin but this doesn't bother me at all. It cleans as it should and leaves my clothes smelling fresh.

I've been a life-long "original scent" user. Whatever the formula was switched to over the last year-or-so has been horrible. I have to run the rinse cycle three times to get my clothes to not smell like I was assaulted in the perfume aisle. Wearing a shirt with the smell is like wandering around with a can of Lysol being sprayed at my face all day. I'm not sure how it can be billed as "original scent" when it most certainly is not. I'm not sure how even people that actually prefer a scent to their laundry can stand it. I'll try the "sensitive skin" option and hope it cleans just as well, without the ghastly smell.

The best fabric detergent out there in my opinion. Everything always smells fresh and clean and nothing needs to be re-washed, always gets the stains out on the first try. Great concentrated liquid so you don't have to use much in your wash to get full power.

My family and I are always getting compliments on the way our clothing and linens smell. Which makes me feel good knowing that my teenage boys actually smell good in public!!
