I miss the actual original scent, that smelled clean and fresh. The scent now smells like floral perfume. My family has all noticed and we have switched to Arm and Hammer Fresh Scent- it smells more like Tide Original than Tide Original itself. Its unfortunate because it is effective- but the scent is just not the same.

Clean the clothes. This Tide brand is plain and straightforward. It gets the job done without trying to do unnecessary stuff.

If I had to pick only one detergent to use for the rest of my life, Tide wins hands down! Not only does it clean really well but my clothes smell fantastic straight out of the wash and even for a while after being in the drawer. I've tested a lot of detergents to see which ones get my clothes looking their best and Tide has out performed all the rest. This laundry detergent gets the toughest stains out of my laundry and lets white shine like they are new! It also removes oil and grease stains from my husband's work clothes. Plus, you only need a really small amount for it to work great. This bottle will last you for a long time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally use Kirkland free and clear laundry detergent, this is my first time trying tide I used it on my boyfriends clothes (he's a welder so clothes get real dirty) and mine the only one I didn't use it on is my newborn as she uses a special detergent for her skin :). I was really impressed with how tide cleaned out my bf's stains the Kirkland brand works but not as well as tide on my clothes I couldn't really tell a difference between the two brands as my clothes don't get as dirty but I am defiantly going to be buying tide for his clothes!!! There are construction workers and occupations that are spent outside. So the clothing I wash is covered in filth, sweat and who knows what else. This good smelling thick laundry detergent gets the stains out of my clothes even in a cold/cold wash. No more pit stains. The construction work attire lasts longer. My table cloth has never looked brighter. I am also saving money on my gas because I do not have to use hot water. We need a detergent that is tough on diet and stains and this is it! The clothes come out clean without having to use an excessive amount of detergent or scrubbing. It smells great too!
