It had a great scent. and I would recommend it to anybody who wants to wash their clothes with this high quality product.

I love the different variations of Tide with the different fragrances and a 'Touch of Downey'...but am frustrated that most stores don't carry the matching Tide and Downy fragrances that I like. Where can I find the large Tide HE's (w/Bleach, w/Downey, w/Fabreze, etc.) and matching large Downey's?

I use them in cold and hot water and have no issue using either. I used this Tide Original to wash my towels and sheets and they came out looking and smelling amazing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Tide laundry detergent in original scent. This bottle contains 37 fluid oz of detergent, has convenient handle used to carry the bottle and to help dispense the detergent. The screw on lid is also a measuring cup for the detergent. The measuring cup is semi opaque so you can see the numbered measurements. I ran a cycle on my washers' normal settings and poured the detergent in my washers' detergent dispenser. After the cycle I could tell my clothing was noticeable cleaner and had a fresh scent that lasted even after I dried it.

I have tried other detergents and this is hands down the best in cleaning my family's laundry. Even my mother used this detergent when I was growing up so it is definitely tried and true. I like the original formula best. Some of the special scents are a bit too much.

I've been a life-long "original scent" user. Whatever the formula was switched to over the last year-or-so has been horrible. I have to run the rinse cycle three times to get my clothes to not smell like I was assaulted in the perfume aisle. Wearing a shirt with the smell is like wandering around with a can of Lysol being sprayed at my face all day. I'm not sure how it can be billed as "original scent" when it most certainly is not. I'm not sure how even people that actually prefer a scent to their laundry can stand it. I'll try the "sensitive skin" option and hope it cleans just as well, without the ghastly smell.
