I washed a load of the towels with original tide and they looked and smelled fresh and clean. I poured it to line for the large load. Tide has that familiar smell that will always remind me on home and my mom.

I did with some dark clothes and cold water and I can tell you that I definitely do like it very much. My clothes came out very clean and also with a very good smell. The wiser me knows that the quality a superior brand offers can be miles above all other brands. Tide is a perfect example of this. Their detergent not only gets clothes cleaner, it leaves them brighter. Even my son's shirt that's been under his bed for God knows how long, came out looking fresh and smelling great! Another thing I love about Tide is how effective it is in cold water. This is a big deal. As anyone with kids can attest, you can find yourself doing a lot of laundry over the course of your life. The money you save on the gas bill (from not using hot water) may be enough to pay for the Tide itself. Everybody loves free detergent... right?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide laundry detergent works perfectly even on the toughest of stains. Tide is a brand I have grown up to my parents using and I am now using it. It's easy to measure and pour the correct amount of liquid for the load size into the machine and let it do its job. It is a brand and product I enjoy and trust.

This formula is no longer the original scent. I've used Original Tide for over 25 years and loved it. Now unfortunately I will have to find a new product. The scent is so overpowering it makes me nauseous. Please bring back the true original scent!!

Although I do wish the scent was stronger, it definitely does do a great job at cleaning clothes and linens! You don't need to use a lot for a full load of laundry and I feel like everything that gets washed comes out softer!

Tide is and has been for a long time a fantastic detergent for all kinds of materials. I also use it for handwashing, the added benefit is it bleach is out my nails to a very bright white… However I took a star off precisely for that reason: tide is so strong that it will make your clothing fade faster than the life of it.

I prefer to wash my families clothing in cool water so I don't have to worry as much about colors bleeding or items shrinking. Thankfully Tide Original seems to clean as well in cool water as It does in warm. I've used Tide on several loads now and have truly been impressed with the results. On my sons clothes I always am spraying stain remover on his clothes. When I used Tide I didn't pretreat the stains. I just put the clothes and Tide in and ran the load. All the stains that I would've sprayed came out with just Tide. I've definitely found my families new detergent.

If it's not broken, don't fix it. For years, Tide had a pleasant scent, but you had to tinker with it. It made my clothes stink, and I had to switch brands. Please bring back ‘classic' Tide (like Classic Coke), and you will get back customers who have left like I have. Keep new Tide, but give past-long-standing customers back their true ‘Original Tide'. Thanks!
