[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only liquid laundry detergent I will use! The scents are always great, clothes come out clean and hold their color and shape. It works in all different machines and is just the standard in detergent.

That sealed the deal for me. Growing up, my mom was 100% brand loyal to Tide. She even uses it today--the POWDER version (still!). I had switched to unscented detergents in the past several years, but on a whim decided to try Tide Original again. I had forgotten how much I missed the scent. It reminds me of my childhood and I'm sticking with it. Why mess with a good thing?

I had a few stains on my top I was wearing while cooking so I put Tide on it for a stain remover IT WORKED AWESOME! I have not bought tide in years however I think I will be buying Tide frequently. My clothes smell fresh and good. I am very impressed with how well it worked on my family's clothes.

Why? Just a simple question...why take a product that has decades of success and make such a radical change to the scent profile? I thought I was buying the same stuff I had used for years. I did one load of sheets and had to get up at 1AM to take the sheets off the bed and pillows because the scent was overwhelming. It gave me an irritated throat and a headache. I couldn't even bear to have the sheets on the floor in the same room. A barely there scent is what clean laundry should smell like. I don't want my sheets smelling so intensely that it wakes me up at night. And I certainly don't want whatever is left behind on the clothes next to my skin all day or being stronger than any scent I choose to wear. I'm sorry to say this improvement is a huge fail.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide Original Laundry Detergent works great at getting all of your laundry clean and leaves it smelling wonderful. One major pro is that you have to use less of this Tide when washing your cloths than other products. Another pro is that it does a great job at removing stains and odors. I found no cons when using this product. Our daughter plays volleyball and her uniform and practice gear get very smelly and have to be washed often. I started using Tide Original to wash her practice gear and uniform and it takes less detergent to get it clean and smelling fresh. It also does not fade the coloring of her cloths (or any of the cloths for the rest of our families) which was a concern with as often as it has to be cleaned. I highly recommend this laundry detergent it is another great product from a trusted brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who has bounced between detergents, from powders, to pods, to liquids, I spent a lot of time using others that just didn't seem to get my clothes as clean or smelling as good. But Tide does both! Not only can I choose between different scents and strengths to fit my needs, but I know that my clothes aren't coming out dingy, smelling weird or not as clean. With two active kids and a husband who builds trucks, Tide will always have my business!

I put such dirty clothes in the washer and a lot of them at once and I also have an older washer. I would occasionally have loads of laundry that just were not clean. But this game my clothes a new looking clean. They also felt clean and smelt so clean and fresh and it was just a good smell that I myself felt good and clean just wearing the clothes. I tried doing a load of laundry in cold water and the result was the same as using hot water. And I will continue to use cold water as it is more energy effect and seems like it would be better for my clothes. Overall I love this detergent.
