I only buy Tide. It seems that every time I tried something new, I'd get a rash. (My kids too) It used to be so simple: Tide Original or with Bleach Alternative. Now I have schedule time in the detergent aisle to swim the sea of scents to find original, and it seems like “bleach alternative” is a thing of the past. There are too many choices! This detergent is more concentrated and end up using less. It really gets the dirt out and leaves everything clean and smelling fresh. It is also He technology recommended for use with my washer. This detergent definitely get the job done leaving my clothes cleaner and the colors vibrant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a special needs Mom. I use 10-15 towels, washcloths daily for my daughter. I wash every other day. I only buy white and it is hard to keep them white. I was raised on using Tide. Through the years I admit I purchased other detergents and found my white towels dull. I have just used my sample of Tide twice and I am shocked and very pleased as to how my washcloths are now looking. They actually look new again! I am delighted with the difference Tide has made in my whites and will now only purchase Tide in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is amazing. The smell that it leaves on my clothes is like a fresh summer's breeze. What I wasn't expecting was the way my clothes, towels, sheets were softer. I No longer use a fabric softener, which saves me money. I just use dryer sheets. My husband even noticed how good his shirts smell. It was when my 4 year old son said "Mommy my towel smells so good" that I knew I would never buy any other brand. I have recommended Tide to my friends and family

I have always stuck with Tide original because I know I am not allergic to it. I recently got a new jug of Tide. A few days ago I started to get hives all over my body. It has taken days to figure out why. I was changing and noticed that my clothes smelled stronger than normal so I went and checked the new bottle and sure enough the scent was different. I pulled out old clothes not washed with new Tide and so far no hives. I am now trying new products in hopes of finding one I am not allergic to. So sad and very uncomfortable!

I have used Tide for over 25 years and used no other detergent. But I can't get over the new scent - it is overwhelmingly perfume-y and sticks with you all day. It seriously gives me headaches. And for the company to suggest buying Tide with a different scent?! I don't want my clean laundry to smell like anything other than clean laundry! They make candles that smell like fresh laundry, how hard can it be for a detergent company to make a fresh clean smelling detergent?! This was my last bottle of Tide.
